The receptionist was very welcoming and friendly. Very friendy towards my best mate too who was there for her passport. The vet (Paul Morton) was also very friendly and loving towards my buddy. He administered the injection without her noticing and sorted out her passport without fuss. All very swift and professional. Very very good experience.

I can not rate this vets highly enough. I have been registered here for many many years and live a 30-40minutes car journey away. I will not change vets as the staff are very professional and very caring. I trust Paul's advise and expertise very much. Unfortunately, we had to have our adorable, much loved and missed Perisan cat Gizmo put to sleep in December at the age of 14. Albeit very sad, it was very peacefully. Thank you so much Paul and all the staff for caring for her while she was in your capable hands. Mrs Welch and family

I cant rate this vets highly enough. I called Paul out on a home visit to have my elderly golden retriever put to sleep as he had rapidly go down hill over night. I had no choose but to call Mansfield cottage as my usual vets and 4 other veterinary surgeries said they could not attend as they did not have enough resources !. I even had one vets say I needed to book in advance to have my dog put down at home ! To which I replied, 'how can I plan a dogs death as he had not been ill' When I called Mansfield cottage they could not do enough to help. I arranged for them to come to my house that morning. When Paul and the nurse arrived they where so kind and caring. They did what I wanted them to do and my much loved family pet was put to sleep in the most dignified manner, it was so very peacefully and he was in his favourite place. Thank you so much

I have seen Paul several times recently and have always found him to be very professional and friendly. The nurse I saw a couple of times was also very efficient and pleasant. Both of my cats are extremely nervous yet Paul always does his best to put them at ease and he is always happy to answer any questions. My rescue kitten had a very nasty case of fleas and they cleared up after just one treatment. Veterinary care is not cheap, wherever you go, but I didn\'t think the prices here were extortionate. I am fairly knowledgeable about small animals as I trained as a veterinary nurse (I used to work for Mr Drew at this same practice) but I do always ask a lot of questions anyway and all of the staff have always been very willing to help, both face to face and over the phone.

Whilst it was indeed easy to find would reserve judgement as felt very little information was offered, had to ask if there would be any side effect to first vaccination. This is my very first time ever using a vet, will go back for 2nd vac as have paid for it. Receptionist seemed slow and seemed unsure of what she was doing and indeed have to check on price paid as was different to what given over the phone.
