The care and respect our family got while our beautiful dog Belle was poorly then at the end was second to non. Rebekka the vet at forest town made this difficult time easier . The sympathy card and forget me not seeds was such a lovely thought . Thank you with all my heart for all of you at the forest town branch .

just a big thankyou to the team that took care of my dog murphy this morning...having been to other vets and having him labelled as dangerous i cant thank these people enough for their treatment and manner in which they dealt with him.No fear of my dog who is a big daft bear anyways and allowed all the team to handle him with no drama...thanks to you all!!!

I've just recently had to have my dog holly put to sleep which I had to take to out of hours surgery the pdsa in notts which you needed a 2nd mortgage for but would do anything for my pets. She has been with yourselfs for 16 yrs and over the last 5 yrs I've spent some serious money at your surgery as she developed diabetes and I had to be checked every 3 months & the prescriptions I needed to and you couldn't even send a sympathy card which my mum received when her cat was put to sleep the week before the receptionist are lovely and most of the nurses but i do feel I was ripped off on many occasion I have now moved my other 2 dogs & cat to another vets which are much cheaper and more caring .
Vet ResponseFirstly, may I say how very sorry we are that Holly had to be put to sleep recently. It is always such a distressing time. I would like to take the time to answer some of the points you raised. Holly was not put to sleep by ourselves but by an out of hours provider and we have no say in any of their prices. We are open 7 days a week with late night surgeries to limit as much as possible any need for out of hour visits. As we ourselves did not put Holly to sleep, we were not aware it had happened. If we know a beloved pet has passed away we always try to make contact. I am sorry we did not send you a sympathy card but none of the vets were aware that Holly had passed away. Diabetes is a serious illness and needs constant treatment and monitoring to keep such patients well. Unfortunately, it is not a cheap condition to treat. Diabetic patients should be closely and regularly monitored as the condition can change so quickly with sometimes serious consequences. At Mansfield Vets4Pets all the team care passionately about the animals under our care and we always strive to offer the best possible service we can

I wanted to write this review to say how pleased we are with the care of our dog Daisy. We have been taking Daisy since we had her earlier this year as a pup. Daisy was neutered in June this year and the care she received was excellent from the whole team. We are always welcomed with a smile and Daisy gets a big fuss which she loves. Welldone to a kind caring team and a big thanks to the reception staff what lovely ladies.

I just wanted to write a review to say how lovely and professional the team at Mansfield are. I sadly had to take my daughters cat Piper to be put to sleep as she as quite unwell. The reception team took my initial call and gave me lots of reassurance and booked an appointment. I arrived to a very caring team who treated both myself and Piper with care and compassion at a very difficult time I want to say a massive thank you to all the team from the ladies on reception to the vet and nurse who helped. I would recommend your practice to anyone such a lovely team of people who clearly care about the animals as well as the owners. Thanks again Jackie and family

I have a small 11 week old puppy. I have paid for all his injections etc with this practice. He hasn't been out yet, so needed his nails trimmed , just tips realy .Hum £15.50. I paid but well that's just to much by I think £7.50 .I liked it there but I realy like value for my money and if that's how it is , I will have to move vets as my friend is too.

We are sorry you feel dissatisfied with our service. £15.50 is our standard price for a nail clip, however puppies that require a trim at the time of vaccinations and/or flea/worming consultations often aren't charged at all. We strive to deliver a high standard of care and customer services and feel we offer good value for money. For example, most nurse consultations are free (unless we are providing a professional service such as a nail clip or anal gland expression) as are our puppy parties which makes us unique as a veterinary practice in the local area. Our team includes qualified and highly experienced Veterinary Nurses or students striving to acquire VN status and therefore we have to charge for our professional time.

We had to take our dog to be put to sleep unfortunately. The receptionist was wonderful, she was very understanding and compassionate, the nurse who dealt with us was equally wonderful and very understanding. The vet who was attending to Jake was Awful, Monica has a disgusting bed side manner, was very abrupt. She told, not asked, my husband to stop stroking Jake who was clearly getting distressed and she made end more distressing for all of us, even the nurse told her to go away when she was trying to shut the door on us and put Jake in a disposal bag. I would not recommend anyone to to see her. On past visits the other vets were brilliant
