I would really like to thank everyone for the care they showed to my dog Amy. Had surgery and she was looked after amazing from reception to vets and nurses 5* all the way. Highly recommendable

My cat developed a rodent ulcer and needed to be seen by the vet. The team in Ashton couldn't have been more helpful from arranging her first and follow-up appointments, to being given her medication. She was seen by Lewis, a fantastic vet, who took the time to explain all the possible treatments and help us decide which would be best for our cat.

Needed to get our rat Genji seen for a respiratory infection and decided to go for Vets4Pets as our first vet in Ashton; they booked us in only a couple days after ringing to make the appointment. They were very gentle with Genji (although obviously he wasn't happy with being at the vet's) and seemed knowledgeable on rats which can be a gamble with vets sometimes. The medication they ended up giving him was for cats but split into smaller amounts, this was because there aren't many medications licensed for rat use but they explained it to us and we signed a consent form to say we were ok with this. At all times we felt informed of what was going on. Consultation fee was also reasonable at something like £23 (can't recall exact amount). Our only niggle was that there were two areas in the waiting rooms - one for dogs, the other for cats and small pets. Obviously a rat and a cat sharing a waiting area is not ideal but I suppose they are limited for space.

Always very happy with the service received from the A-U-L branch. Lewis took extra special care of Leeloo when it transpired that she was very unwell. I have not come across a member of the Vets who is not compassionate and caring, from the Vets and Nurses to the lovely ladies on Reception, every one of them are a credit to the team.

Probably great if you have an emergency, as they prioritise those even when only one vet is on duty. However as I arrived for a routine appointment and was then kept waiting for 75 minutes, I wasn't impressed. The company sucked me in with the "pay up front" deal for our pet's annual boosters, if I go elsewhere then I have lost that money. But I am seriously unimpressed. Yes I understand emergencies happen, but to accept them at the practice when you only have one vet and you have other appointments waiting, won't keep your customers.

Thank you Lewis and Rebecca for taking care of our much loved pet and for the compassion shown to us at his passing. As we had recently moved house we were not registered with a vet when our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel collapsed and died. A phone call to Companion Care at Ashton-under-Lyne and a chat with Rebecca who invited us to take our dog in. We were seen straight away by vet Lewis who explained the choices we had. We chose cremation and said a sad good bye to Bracken. Today we went back to collect his ashes and again saw Rebecca. She is an excellent receptionist and so kind. The ashes were in a pouch (which we had chosen) inside a beautiful cardboard box with a personal message from the crematorium . A fitting end for our little dog. Thank you Companion Care - you were so kind.
