Sometimes vets refer their own pets for treatment. I am a vet and hopefully the fact that I chose to drive 5 hrs from my now current home in North Wales (past several other referral centres) for Alasdair to operate on my own dog speaks volumes. My dog had a retained abdominal testicle, not an uncommon occurrence. I wanted my dog to have his castration carried using laparoscopy (key hole) which is a neat and minimally invasive way of dealing with this problem. Having previously worked with Alasdair for a number of years when my career in anaesthesia crossed with Alasdair's in surgery, I first hand know him to be an extremely talented soft tissue surgeon and one with a great deal of experience of laparoscopy. Wesley's procedure went very well and his missing testicle was quickly located and removed in less than 20 minutes. Wesley recovered from his surgery quickly and was up and happy within just a few minutes of it being done, with only two small holes in his abdominal wall to heal. I can't thank you enough Alasdair for such a super job and everyone else who helped care for Wesley.

My dog went in with a broken jaw after a dog attack, he received top professional care and I was kept informed of his day to day care and treatment. They have gone above and beyond to help my dog, they really do care. I really would recommend this practice for general and complex treatments.
