Morning, My Name is Alan Griffiths, formerly of Brightwater Lakes. My dogs and I have for the past 7 years been clients of your practise and now that we have moved out of area, I feel that I must contact you to let you know how grateful our family (Holly, Bella & previously Bramble & Bracken) have been for the care, attention, support and friendliness shown by you and ALL of the staff that we have been in contact with during that time. A special thanks must go to Sylvia who (supplied us with tea, cake & empathy) in helping us to deal with the loss of our Bramble & Bracken and who has always been a helpful, welcoming lady........... I hope that we can now find a Practise, in our home area, that comes up to your standards of care & attention........................tall order............. Again many Thanks from The Family Griffiths - Alan, Jenny, Holly & Bella

We have had a worrying time for the last few months with our mini schnauzer Whiskey. Anna as usual was very helpful and caring right from the start of Whiskey's most recent health problem. She fully explained all results linked with Whiskey's blood test, advised on best course of treatment. She even joined in running round the car park trying to catch a urine sample from Whiskey, bit of light relief. We were introduced to Louise the vet who would be a second person treating Whiskey. I have to admit, I was a little apprehensive about someone else treating Whiskey, bad experiences with former vet practice has stayed with me. My fears however were completely unnecessary. Louise, like Anna, was extremely caring, professional, friendly and took time to explain Whiskey's latest results and best form of treatment for him. Whiskey is a lucky dog to have such dedicated vets looking after him. Thanks as well to the vet nurses who have looked after Whiskey and to the reception staff for whom nothing is too much trouble.

We visited Camlas Vets last Monday . First thing we noticed as we arrived were the amazing hanging baskets. Some of the nicest ones we've seen this year. A big well done to the person who provides them.

On Easter Saturday, the three year old Labrador Nelson, who we were looking after on behalf of our son for the w/e, decided to eat a quantity of rat poison. The time was 10am and following an urgent call to Camlas in Welshpool, we were advised to bring him in straight away for immediate treatment. Nelson was in the vets within 30mins and treated by Anna immediately, who kept us updated throughout the procedure. Two hours later, Nelson was returned to us, non the worse for his unfortunate experience and with reassurance of a 24 hour follow up call if his condition deteriorated. We are pleased to say that Nelson has fully recovered, as holiday makers it is very reassuring to have this contact, having now had first hand experience, we can thoroughly recommend this team to anyone in a similar position. Many thanks Anna and all at Camlas.

Millie says a massive thank you for all the care and attention Anna and the Camlas team have given to her. Anna quickly identified that Millie's paws were very painful and acted immediately to help her. A thorough round of tests got to the bottom of the problem so that Millie could receive the best treatment to get her back on track to being a happy healthy cat again. I have been particularly impressed by the extra effort everyone at the practice has taken to make this stressful time as easy as possible for me and for Millie. Having moved around the country over the past 20 years, Camlas are by far the most caring and professional veterinary practice I have used. Thank you.

I brought a small rescue kitten in on Thursday that had a dog bite across his face. We so upset we just popped him in the car and brought him in with his sister without an appointment. We were seen quickly by the vet and he stayed in with his sister to be stitched up. When I picked him up I couldn't believe how well his face was. Gemma the vet who did it has done an amazing job, we really had to look closely to see the wound as his face doesn't look as if it has stitches at all. Fliss the nurse explained the procedure and went through his meds and booked him in for a check up with her on Saturday. She was kind and gentle with him and very thorough explaining to me any problems to check for and so on. Thank you all, I came in with a very sick little kitten, he and his sister are back to mad whirling bundles of fluff just a couple of days later! I am so grateful!

i have not been with camlas vets for long as my shitzu pup is only 7 months old, but so far they have been extremely good in all aspects, I think personaly that one of the major things you have to deal with when you require a pup is find a vet you can trust and thankfully I have. many thanks to all the team at camlas vets. lorraine

We have a huge number of animals And Camlas vets have always looked after them for us. They have done so with skill, dedication and compassion. Over the years they have done everything from routine care, to emergency treatment, surgery to dental care . They have improved the quality of life, extended life , and when the time came, allowed life to end with dignity and compassion ( and a great deal of understanding for how sad and emotional a time it is for the owners.) They are flexible in their thinking and keep up to date with everything your pet could need. Our most recent experience we dealt with Jo and Dave who were , as always superb. And. The most compassionate receptionist that ever graced a vets reception. If you are wondering if Camlas is for you , Give them a try and I'm sure you will be writing a similar report on here in no time too.
