Our two hamsters had received care for a few ailments over the past 2 years and were always treated with great care and respect . We had to have them put to sleep recently in close succession and the compasion, care and respect shown to our pets was outstanding. It made a difficult situation more bearable and the little paw prints we have are great comfort. I would highly recommend this vets.

Have been registered for 16 years with CC Park Gate. Fantastic care every visit for my four dogs, from routine visits to emergency adder bites, shoulder dislocations, thrombocytopenia. The end of life care was so compassionate for my first dog Polly, and the reception staff, and nurses, in addition to the vets, care is fantastic. Additionally I took an injured fox in late one evening, and all the staff worked so hard to save its life (with a substantial financial loss for them and working into the night). Wouldn't go anywhere else!

Took my elderly cat here to be put to sleep, the vet and receptionists were friendly and professional. However we were charged £131 (excluding cremation) with no prior estimate of cost but fortunately could afford to pay. This isn’t a value for money issue but having now made enquiries this service is available for £40-50 locally. It would be nice to think that profits for the essentials such as neutering and euthanasia could be kept to a minimum to promote animal welfare. RIP Tigger in a happy hunting ground.

A very professional service. Understanding and compassionate. 100% recommend. Made the passing of our 19 year old cat as painless as possible under the circumstances. Special thanks to Miguel.

In the next few days, my new cat Binx will be visiting CCV at park gate, I have every confidence that his treatment will be of the best. I have used this vet for several years, for two cats, Wordy and Monty, sadly they both were put to rest. And this is where the kindness of this vet's needs mentioning, They were so kind and helpful, when I needed it, Praising them for caring for my pets was nice. but when I had to loose them, It showed how not only do they care for the pets, they also care for the owners. Thanks girls and boys.

We have had our new puppy for three weeks, due to jabs and repeated tummy updates we have been in 4 times, receptionist and vets all have been very caring and professional. We couldn't have asked for better care. Thank you

Over my 68 years I have used vets services up and down the UK for my cats and dogs. I'm always grateful for their help. However, this particular practice stands head and shoulders above all the others for the kindness, care and attention given to the animals and their owners. I could not have asked for better treatment from the receptionists, the nurses and the vets. They are all wonderful, and this is no exaggeration.

I just want to say not many vets would perform life saving tooth surgery on a degu. Brian would have died of sepsis, dehydration/ starvation as he had stopped eating and had a huge wound in his cheek due to a sharp tooth spur. With my consent he underwent anaethetic and the brave team led by a very talented vet Barbara J persevered to file the spur. Brian is making an excellent recovery and without the surgery would be dead now I'm sure. Thank you from me and from Brian who may enjoy a few more years with his brother.

We have always been very pleased with the treatment that we have received for our pets at Companion Care Park Gate. Throughout the years, all of the staff that we have met have shown immense care and empathy for our pets (and us)as well as being very experienced and professional. Without doubt, our current Labrador Leo has been our greatest challenge to date, due to his nervous and volatile temperament. I am sure many vets would have given up on him some time ago! I am writing this today to express my thanks to the whole team, and in particular Lucy Atkinson, for the way that Leo has been treated during his current illness. Lucy has been an excellent practitioner in every sense of the word and has dealt with Leo's temperament admirably whilst carrying out his treatment. Many thanks to you all.
