Love that this practise as it is still independent and not part of a chain. We thankfully have only had to visit for worming , fleeing and general health check. Tilly is due to be spade next month Im confident that she will receive excellent care .

Very good vets, used for years. Like the Handsworth branch as nearer to me and tends to be quieter at the end of opening hours

If you didn't know the vets was here you could easily drive past, a small vets with a small carpark at the side, however the service delivered is one of the best. Friendly receptionist, vets that instantly make you reassured, my dogs not the easiest customer, but their patience and friendliness definetley eased him. No appointment needed you just turn up during opening hours and your pet is seen quickly, which is what make a this vets number one choice for me. Reasonable and competitive prices with the animals interest put first

Millie my dog was diagnosed with an aggressive tumour in early January, I was told then that she would pass away this year as there was nothing that could be done for her, Stephanie was Milliea vet and was always there ti answer questions or take a look at how her tumour was progressing, I rang with concerns on 9th May, Stephanie seen her on the morning of the 10th, The decision had to be made on that day, She had gone lame and the tumour had covered her paw, she was in pain and suffering, I held Millie in my arms while she quietly went to sleep with no fear,no pain, and no idea of what was happening to her. My vet totally understood my grief and also showed the love she feels for all animals, she gently took her from me, that was the end for my beautiful dog at only nine years old, a week later I recieves a sympathy card signed by everyone at the practice.three weeks have now gone by and without a doubt the awful experience at Hallcourt was made so much easier for me by the compassion and understanding of what we were all going through, Millies end of life was turned into a loving special moment rather than a horrid distressing time. The whole journey of millies illness, diagnosis and death was handled by the all of the staff with dignity and understanding. Believe me that makes such an awful day easier to bear.

Always receive a nice welcome at Handsworth and a helpful and chatty reception. Vets have always treated my kitties with care and sensitivity. Good local location with easy parking. Love this veterinary practice, both at Handsworth and Dinnington. Time taken to explain treatment and will not incur any unnecessary costs. Encourages preventative measures and gives good advice.

Hall court don't have an appointment system, which is a bit of a pain when there are loads of people already there, but you always get seen when you go at their opening hours. I've used this vets all of my life and they have cared for my various pets gently and kindly right through to the end. My last dog was bad tempered and had attitude, but they always cared for her gently, even kneeling on the floor to treat her so she didn't have the stress of being lifted onto the table. I've always had the opinion that they do the right thing for the animal and not just focused if they are insured, so they can ramp up the charges.

I have known Hallcourt Vets for 55 years when my parents took our very young Cairn Terrier, Jill, to them following a very poor prognosis at another practice. As the result of a different diagnosis, and the required treatment, Jill rapidly recovered, and lived to old age. My parents became clients of the practice, and I have followed in their footsteps taking all my dogs there. I have never had any worries concerning the treatment and care of my pets or myself. As the practice has grown it has managed to retain the friendly, yet caring and professional attitude extended to patients and their owners. I always feel confident in the diagnosis and treatment received by my pets, and have found staff willing to go that extra mile. I have recommended Hallcourt to friends and colleagues who have subsequently become clients of the practise. An award would be well-deserved. Thank you to everyone at Hallcourt
