We had to put my dog Leo to sleep. He was an old chap and had renal failure. I want to say medivet were very kind. We received a card & forget me not seeds in the post. Any pet lover knows that when all treatment has been exhausted, the kindest thing to do is to let your pet go peacefully. I know I felt guilty & sometimes my own feelings clouded my view as we just wanted to hold onto our beloved boy but the kindest thing is not to let them suffer. I also send love & thoughts to all who have to make this decision as it's hard to say goodbye. Thanks to all at medivet you are all kind & thoughtful & a credit to your profession.

Progress 100% Complete Thanks for your feedback! Please take a moment to copy and paste your comments onto one of these popular sites: VetHelpDirect Facebook Google I can only speak from my specific visit which happened to be a very quiet afternoon. With that in mind, the staff to care of my dog, Buddy, very quickly. Ascertained the issue and dealt with it promptly. The staff were helpful, courteous and polite. Obviously, any owner worth their salt will be distraught when their family member is in an emergency vet and the staff were more than respectful. From the girls at reception to the vet who operated on Buddy, everyone was a credit to the veterinary profession. I can't comment on value for money as it's the first time my dog has had to go in so I don't know if it was expensive at £400 to remove a grass seed from his paw but I know he was in pain, distraught, bleeding and with a swollen paw which was all taken care of so that was foremost on my mind.
