A lump was found in my dogs jaw. I took him to my local vet who on the same day removed a Tooth took X-rays and contacted Bob Partridge who took over and did radical surgery saving my dogs life. Bob Partridge is very skilled, compassionate, does not beat about the bush tells you exactly what needs to be done so you are not left wondering . The staff at the hospital are also caring for pet and owners alike. We would not hesitate to recommend Bob Partridge the hospital or staff. Thankyou for the work you are doing for all pets and owners. Joyce and Neil Loughran Saltburn, Cleveland

I was referred to OakBeck by my vet at Minster Veterinary Practice in Southwell when my Irish Setter Chester suffered an injury to his mouth and jaw and was in danger of losing a canine. Bob Partridge, the specialist vet sorted out the injury and fitted a brace which would hopefully allow the loose tooth to stabilise. After several weeks the brace was removed and Chester's tooth is safe. I cannot praise Bob and has nurses and staff enough for the care given to my beloved dog. Thank you all.

My dog suffered any injury to her jaw and this was fixed the same day and all care given and provided for her was brilliant and always kept informed and when picking Molly up, she was also happy even through she had been through such a trauma.

Absolutely amazing care shown towards us and our dog. Dog was extremely unwell, so we were obviously anxious, and they were quick to see and calm us, also efficient in explaining what was wrong and what treatment would be. Always updating us with how our dog was doing and easy to call if we had any questions. Not our usual Vets but will use again and definitely recommend.

I can't thank Oak Beck Veterinary Hospital enough. I brought in a little cat I found dazed in the road in Kirk Deighton. I wasn't sure how badly injured it was but it was stumbling around in the road and holding it's paw up. I took it to Oak Beck and they were extremely helpful and sorted out it's injured paw. I am happy to say that I emailed all the local vets and luckily the owner had reported her missing. I took the cat home and the owner picked her up today. Oak Beck went above and beyond to help an animal it knew nothing about for no reward.

For well over 10 years we have taken our Dogs to Ashdale and OakBeck for treatment. From regular inoculations to serious conditions the Staff and level of care have been fantastic. They supported us with kindness and compassion when we had our old girl put to sleep and shared our excitement when our Hungarian Pulis arrived as puppies. In her first year Erszi picked up Campylobacter which led to her suffering badly from dehydration, we were met at OakBeck at almost midnight on New Years Day and the level of care was the same as in regular working hours. When we were attending 'Puppy Parties' we got to take a look behind the scenes, it was spotless and it always amazes me how quickly test results appear. They always seem to go that extra mile and I can't imagine trusting the care of our canine members of the family to anyone else.

Having used Acorn in Ripon for years it was natural for us to take our new Lab puppy, Ted, there after we collected him in July 2013 aged 11 weeks. All went well until Summer 2014 when he injured a back knee. Several visits, x-rays and a referral on meant that we got on top of that problem with a cruciate implant. This year things went pear-shaped, quite literally, with the leg and Ted became really poorly. Multiple visits and another referral on couldn't get to the bottom of his problems. Ultimately it became clear after discussions with Anne that amputation was the only route forward. I can say whole-heartedly that this was absolutely the correct thing to do. 8 weeks post-op and we have our old Ted back, and only after the surgery have Oakbeck been able to diagnose an aggressive sarcoma which would've taken him from us. We can't thank all the staff enough; receptionists, nurses, and all the vets. Special mention for those involved in Ted's after care which involved several daily phone calls to keep us up to date on his progress, and the cuddles he received to keep his morale up, and our particular personal gratitude to Anne for her advice and support throughout and to Bob for the superb surgery which has healed so well (Ted didn't nibble stitches at all this time!). We continue to visit for check-ups and don't expect this to ever be any different. It could be said that you get what you pay for - an outstanding service, thank you.
