I called the service at about 11pm in a very distressed state as Jack my dog had just had a fit, Robin answered and was very calm and professional as well as making me feel as if he really cared about Jack . He calmed me down and listen patiently as l 're encountered what had happened panicking and repeatedly asking the same questions in different seniorios. He talked me through what had happened reassuring me l had done the correct things while also advising me what to do if it reoccured again. He arranged an immediate appointment giving me clear concise instructions on what to do when we arrived at the hospital. We tried to bring Jack in but he got extremely distressed when he was put in the car so we decided to not put him through the ordeal. I called the hospital back and Robin answered again, he cancelled the appointment and offered me a 10am next day asking me to bring all his medication so if Jack was admitted to hospital he had his medication with him so that l would not be charged for medicines off the hospital, l told him l was going to sit up with Jack all night so he talked me through what would be the best thing for him and what to look out for to ensure he was calm and comfortable. Robin told me to call at any time through the night and he would talk me through any issues or concerns l may have, he warned me off the possibility that they may not answer the phone immediately as they could be dealing with an emergency and it could disconnect , if this occurred he advised me to not to worry and wait a few minutes and call back. I felt reassured and not alone if something did happen. We survived the night without any issues and attended our appointment next morning , Hannah was the vet who dealt with us and once again l was made to feel as if she really cared about Jack and our wellbeing,. She conversed with me at length about Jack and it was obverious she had really read through his notes. She arranged for Jack to have blood tests first thing Monday morning at our own vets. She asked if l would pay over the phone and so l called the hospital and was dealt with by a lovely lady ( apologies l forgot your name it maybe Andrea) who took my payment, she was also very professional and extremely kind we even had a bit of a giggle as she overheard my husband cursing a driver cutting us up as we drove home. What started as one of the most heartbreaking and horrendous experiences l have ever had with a dog , turned out to be a very humbling experience witnessing the care , courtesy and professional attitude of the team .
