My dogs love coming to see the Vet. The staff are very friendly, professional and nothing is too much trouble. Andy Buchan is a first class Vet. He knows and understands my dogs. I trust what he says. Both my dogs are signed up to the monthly plan and I find this an excellent way to cover the cost of annual boosters, worming tablets and tick & flea tablets. I frequently recommend Heathlands Medivet to friends and fellow doggy walkers. I feel very lucky that my dogs are with such a caring excellent vetinary practice.

I have the utmost confidence in everything to do with the Wool practice and find the vet I see one of the kindest I have come across. The nurses are kind and very helpful.

Such wonderful and friendly staff, from the reception through to the nurses and vets themselves. Very helpful and offer great advice and great my pets like their own. So well run and totally perfect. Even if I lived further away I would still visit this practice due to such amazing service. I have been a loyal customer for years and have had several pets treated here and even when they had to go to sleep we were treated with great affection and dignity. Thank you all for amazing service.

Our dog was very ill with an auto immune blood disease and without Andy and his team giving an emergency blood transfusion late on a Saturday night he would have died. We are immeasurably grateful and can't recommend them all highly enough.

I took Tiara (one of our rescue dogs) into see Andy on the 03/01/2017 with an horrendous injury to her hind foot as I thought her toes were dead. After a mammoth consultation to remove and redress the decision was made to get her on the surgery table under a GA and see what could be done. I took her back up the nxt morning with dread in my heart as I thought she'd only have 3 legs the next time I saw her but I knew she couldn't carry on the way she was. After surgery she stayed overnight as need to be sedated again the nxt day to remove and redress the wound. From then on it was every other day up to the vets for dressing changes. She swore at Andy a few times in the beginning but on the whole she was an amazing patient. Tiara lost one and a half toes but thanks to Andy she still has her leg and is doing amazingly well. We've started walking out now and she's loving playing. I'm amazed at how well she has recovered and she'll be looking for her forever home soon. A massive thank you from Tiara and Kim (her foster mum) xx
