My roxi passed away on Saturday 21st September. She was nearly 12 and a beautiful German shepherd. After being put on the emergency list we took our girl to sprowston perd at home. Sadly roxi was so very poorly and was put to sleep. The level of care and kindness given to us and our gorgeous roxi was simply amazing. On such a sad day the staff were flawless in everyway. I cant thank them enough.

yesterday i had my beloved oriental bicolour put to sleep. I was very tearful. the staff were lovely. they made me a cup of tea and let me sit quietly in a room whilst they called me a taxi. i was surprised and moved by their compasion. thankyou.

The care given to Slug the cat was exemplary. Rob, Alex, Michael and the rest of the team did everything they could to give Slug the best chance of a good life. Sadly it wasn't to be but he did get two really happy weeks of being back outdoors being a proper cat until an unfortunate incident with a fence or something meant we had to let him go. The compassion shown to myself and my son and daughter was very much appreciated. Slugs release was gentle, dignified and quick. I highly recommend companion care. They genuinely care and the well being of the animal comes first. Thank you.

My cat had managed to get a thorn in his paw. The vet was able to see us within an hour of us calling and we were all done and dusted promptly. Excellent service all round and one happy cat.

My guinea pig was finding it difficult to breathe, and I panicked and asked for an emergency appointment. The moment I walked in she was taken to the team straight away to see if her vitals were ok. After that, a very short wait to see a vet. I cannot thank you enough!

I have a senior dog who is nearly 16 & was diagnosed with canine cushing's disease in January 2017 & has to have regular blood tests. Since this diagnosis the vets at Companion Care have been amazing, they really do take the time for you & your pet. I can't thank Michael, Rian & Rob enough for all they have done for my Beautiful Jess

My friend and companion. Mira, a rescue greyhound, had an accident whilst playing in the snow on Feb 28th. The ex-rays showed cracks and breaks in her leg. She was in great pain and I returned to the vet on March 1st and listened to Riaan and together with his advice, I decided to let her go. I was in great distress. Mira was quite calm and she went to sleep very peacefully. I miss her dreadfully.

Recently had to have my beloved cat , of 18 years, put to sleep. The staff here couldn't have handled my distress at the situation and my cats distress any better. Given the best advice and all options were covered. Received an in sympathy card not long after. Above and beyond service, given I, thankfully, hadn't had to visit often. Thank u to all the staff there x

My cat I sadly no longer have, was the very first animal to have an operation when Companion Care opened where Dunelm now is at Sprowston retail park approx 18/19 years ago. Since then, the practice has looked after 3 cats, 2 dogs and my tortoise. Rob and Riaan have looked after my animals for the last 16/17 years. My family and I have built up a trust and rapport with both of these vets and unless they have been on days off or holiday, have always seen my animals. I know they are there for my pets and do their utmost to keep them well and pain free. I listen to their judgement when sadly the time time comes to say goodbye. They have both been extremely compassionate and I will never forget how Rob and I sat in a cage together with my 14 year old German Shepherd Amber whilst he was putting her to sleep. It was an extremely emotional time for all of us. Riaan was exactly the same when he put my Doberman Cross Gypsy to sleep 15 years ago. Moving on, I now have 2 new German Shepherd pups called Sapphire and Ruby. They have both already met Rob and Riaan and fingers crossed we don`t have to visit them often. It is nice to know that I have two people I can trust with their health should I need advice. I will never go anywhere else as the whole vetinary practice is first class. My pups now go to training classes at the surgery with Kiran Price. Although i`ve raised pups in the past i`ve never raised two together so thought it would be good to get some professional advice. Kiran is a lovely lady and her advice has helped in raising my two girls without a lot of stress. Must not forget Dawn who has also been there for many years too. She sorts out all my insurances claims for me. A lovely lady too. Would recommend Companion Care to anyone for any animal.
