My COcker Spaniel went for her annual check and we were told she was over weight. We were given advice from the Nurse and we work out a plan to support out dogs weight loss. This includes feeding and exercise. The vets offered us 4 weekly checks to which we took up the offer. Our dog has now started to lose weight and is now get more alert and full of energy. Thank you to the Staff for all your help and encouragement. My dog is looking great now. ☺

we were happy with the examination and consultation but shocked at our bill. Charged £32.19 for 3 ml metacam which is sold on line with prescription for £3.97 saving 60% on a vet charge of £12.84. Thinking we had been overcharged I queried this at surgery to be told charge was correct. Requested and eventually received a refund and enquired about a prescription which would cost £10. I accepted this only to be told we would have to wait until after lunchtime the following day. The vet knowingly delayed me ordering this drug for 24 hours for an animal he knew was in pain. Why? 3 ml Metacam barely serves three applications. We could easily have required more at a further cost of £32.19. Incredible. I asked receptionist how much they charged for 15 ml. She declined to tell me. We were shocked beyond words at the price hike of this drug but also of the uncaring attitude towards me and most of all to an elderly suffering pet.

Our prices are constantly under review to try to make them as competitive and affordable as possible and we are happy to discuss your feedback relating to our Metacam pricing in person. Regarding the issuing of written prescriptions, we routinely provide these for our clients who source their veterinary medications elsewhere. If requests are made during a consult it is usually possible to fill out the required paperwork immediately, but there are parts of our day when we are occupied with other tasks that require our full attention. It is for this reason that we ask for sufficient notice (our current policy is 24 hours) to allow time for us to process your request but we also appreciate that this was not the hoped for response in your particular circumstances. Please get in touch with the practice directly as we would like the opportunity to discuss your concerns in more detail and ensure your cat has the care they require. We always appreciate feedback, both positive and negative, to help us to improve the service we offer.

I moved vets to this one and have always been happy with the service. Vets are friendly and knowledgable and the opening times mean it is always easy to make an appointment.

I would never recommend companion care not even to my worst enemy, I will never bring my pets back to his vets ever, too much to explain exactly what happened but I will say my dogs deserve a lot more than this horrible place!!!!!

My American Bulldog Hank has skin allergies to most things, so he is a regular for maintenance steroids and health checks, Hank loves going to the vet they are so patient with him as he is such a big boisterous boy. Hank especially loves knowing where all the treat jars are. I wouldn't go anywhere else now.
