I’ve been with Rushcliffe Veterinary Centre for many years now and i must say it was the best decision I ever made after I had a bad experience with a vet in another county.
Bill has seen all of my pooches through the years and I had the confidence in him to know they were in safe hands.
Bill and his staff, especially Jo, Tracy, David and the rest of the team are truly lovely, lovely people. I’ve always known that I could turn to them if I had any questions that needed answering or concerns that I may have had, they are so compassionate nothing was ever too much trouble. I feel the practice are not just a place to go for your pets health care, they are an extension of my family and I couldn't recommend them enough.
Recently I lost my little boy Charlie, who I loved more than life itself as he was so very special to me.
I had taken Charlie to Fitzpatrick Referrals at the end of January and the results from there were unfortunately bad news.
In March Charlie's health deteriorated and while visiting my Mum I had to call Bill and him being the compassionate man that he is asked me to stay in touch and let him know of any change or ring him if I needed to.
The day after I had to make an appointment at my Mum's Vets in Norwich as Charlie was not even taking his meds. Whilst I was at the practice I needed to speak to Bill to ask his opinion on what would be the best thing for Charlie and he made the time to speak to me and the vet I was seeing. He knew I was worried and gave me the time I needed to make the decision I had to make in Charlie's best interest. Bill's words of reassurance and compassion got me through one of the most difficult times in my life and I cant say the words to show my gratitude.
Even though my ‘little man' is no longer with me, I just wanted to say and express my thanks from the bottom of my heart.
So thank you, all of you,
Christine Smits (Charlie's Mum) xx
