Had a good visit at St George's vets today with Zorro, having had a poor experience at a previous vets it was lovely to see a vet who treated my dog with the respect he deserves. Arina was lovely with him gave him fuss and a little treat which made his visit stress free. Thank you

Have always found the staff most helpful and friendly at St Georges (Sedgely Branch); Olga the young vet was particularly caring and helpful, listening to concerns and explaining her advice and treatment very clearly. Thankyou!!

Am feeling very upset about the Vets at the moment. It took them two sets of blood tests- which showed nothing, 6 examinations and an ultrasound to tell me that my cat was riddled with tumours. I feel like the first response is have more blood tests which are over £80 a time. I was told to repeat them after two weeks. Nice team but I think they put money and not the animals first. I am heartbroken and very upset as I feel failure to diagnose the cancer put my cat through unnecessary pain and discomfort.

Vet Response

Firstly, I’m so sorry that you have lost Smokey and on top of that very sad situation, you don’t feel happy with the service received. I have asked our Clinical Director, Stuart Cashmore to get in touch with you to have a chat. Sarah Guy, Branch Manager.

As always, the staff at the St Georges Vets in Sedgley are always helpful and friendly. I always like to see Steph (Vet Nurse) as both my rescue dogs are on weight plans. They both seem to know who she is now and shes very attentive around them both. My one dog has recently had a couple of incidents where the services of a vet has been required and the service from the vets have also been great. Steph knew about all these even though I hadn't seen her for these incidents which makes it seem she is invested in her clients and patients.

Wouldn't take my cats anywhere else. Only ever had 2 unsatisfactory episodes and they were rectified almost straight away

It was our first visit with Murray, a retired greyhound, and he was quite happy as he was given food whilst having the injection. He will remember this on future visits. He was not distressed in any way.

I have always been satisfied with the service I have received from St Georges. The Vets that have examined and treated my pet have always been very courteous to myself and caring towards my pet. The only downside I find is the cost of treatment. I know that all veterinary treatment is costly and I suppose that not being one of the wealthy pensioners, maybe I should not have a pet.

Good professional service but very high pricing which is sad because it puts parents off getting pets for their children.
