I have been a client at the veterinary Centre since 1986. Having been let down by my previous vet not providing weekend emergency care when l desperately required it. Thankfully The Veterinary Hospital at Estover saved the day.. and my dog! (Estover still provides the more complex procedures and out of hours care l require) After that incident I registered all my salukis at one of the the groups satellite centres... Plymstock veterinary Centre and have over the years received wonderful care (Thanks to all vets and nurses, but especially Adam Coulson). Plymstock not only offers clinics but also has an operating theatre providing in my experience a quality, yet convenient surgery for neutering, dental work and straight forward operations rather than travelling to and fro Estover. Providing quality 24/7 veterinary care isn't cheap and therefore that is reflected in what you pay, but l have found with vets as with so many things in lifethat you generally get what you pay for. (pet insurance likewise!)

we have been using this practice for over 10 years now, and even though we have moved from the area we still come back to get our pets looked after. The care and compassion over the years have been very supportive and usually very to the point. We Have our favourite vets, but all the vets are professional, friendly and informative. unfortunately fees and treatment are pricey, but I think that most people do not realise the cost of drugs and equipment not to say staff. If we were charged a commensurate rate in the NHS it would shock most people. We have also used the hospital in times of crisis and have been very happy with the standard of care, and in difficult times compassion. we will continue to support the veteran services

My cat needed treatment over a month and I received superb service from my vet, Katie Parsons. A dedicated and friendly professional.
