We recently had our beloved dog Jez put to sleep. Jez had had a hard, cruel life before we adopted him.Three adoption attempts had failed due to his issues, which we all down to human cruelty. We brought him home to the UK by transatlantic flight from the USA, along with his 'brother' Watson. They quickly adapted to life here and enjoyed the beach enormously! Jez became the happy little boy he was always meant to be and repaid us over and over for our patience. We enrolled them with Pets at Home who have taken care of them for nearly three years. Tom and his team were amazing when a decision had to be made that Jez's health was deteriorating, his quality of life untenable. As I signed the paperwork Jez looked up at me, I will never forget it, Its ok mom. Then Tom took control, the care, dignity and understanding was all anyone could wish for. Then today I received a card from the team saying we are sorry for you loss. What more can I say?

Whilst on holiday my dog developed a problem with her eye. The team were fantastic especially Tom who was honest and gave me various options. He took my dog in the day after I first had a consultation with him and operated on my dogs eye. He removed numerous ingrowing eyelashes that had caused her eye to develop an ulcer. Within 24hours her eye was open and she was back to her normal self. Thank you to everyone as the service I was given was extremely professional and caring.

I am very impressed with the care that Mark Taylor and the team at Companion Care Ltd Truro gave to my 12 yr old Jack Russell and to me when she was admitted recently for an operation to remove a tumour from her mammary gland and her thigh. The operation was a success and when the results came back from being tested they rang me with them, luckily the tumours were benign and she now has a clean bill of health. Thank you so much, I will certainly recommend you to all my friends.

I have recently been to the Truro Companion care practice and was truly amazed by the care and consideration given to my dog who needed a minor eye operation. The vet took our dog immediately and operated that same day. He was honest beforehand about options and costs involved. The aftercare offered was also superb. The staff all give you the time you need to understand procedures and answer questions that you have. I certainly didnt feel like just another customer! I cant't thank Tom and his team enough.

The Vets, Nurses and any other team members are professional, dedicated and really helpful. They aim to provide the best possible care whilst being frank about costs involved and choices. Very caring and sensitive to us when we had our Collie put to sleep, and superb with our new puppy. Would highly recommend time and time again.
