Our little Lhasaoso became very poorly yesterdsy we had no idea how serious her condition was. After visiting a different vet who was abrupt making us feel awful we took her here. The service snd empathy was ourstanding by David the vet and later the nurse and receptionist. Thankyou so much x

We brought our cat Frankie (Franklin) to the out of hours service. The vet Viktor was lovely and gentle with him...thank you. The receptionist was lovely too.

Barnsley Vets 4 Pets have been amazing with my new puppy Vivienne. I have had lots of advice and reassurance and recently she went for a laparoscopic spay. I was so nervous but the staff were wonderful and straight after the Operation Caroline called me & gave me a very detailed feedback of what she had done & how things had gone. She again was so reassuring. The staff make such a fuss of Vivienne they so genuinely love the animals they care for - even after a operation my puppy can't wait to get inside the surgery as she associates it with attention and cuddles. So a big thank you to the Vets , the nurses and the reception team. Keep on doing what you do - it is very much appreciated.

This was our first visit and it was completely ruined by the reception staff who were both trainee's and did not know what they were doing. There was a manager in the middle who was like a rabbit in headlights, a total mess.

Vet Response

I'm sorry for the inconvenience caused during your visit to our hospital, you are right that the two receptionists were training, it was their first day, so unfortunately they made some understandable errors. The surgery gets very busy and can be overwhelming for new starters. I hope you understand why this lead to a reduction in the service level provided and that they will certainly improve as they grow with us. However it is regrettable that this had such a negative impact for you, for which, I apologise. Dr Peter Richards BVSc MRCVS

Our 4 year old labrador managed to impale herself when leaping over a log. I managed to walk her back to the car and drove her to you, having been advosed to put a pressure bamdage on her. She had severed a main vein in her groin and had lost about 600 mls of blood. After a really tricky operation and many weeks of recovery, Saffy is bounding with energy, running up and down the South Downs and swimming in Chichester Estuary. Also had brilliant back-up from Vets4pets in Chichester. Many many thanks.

Vet Response

Hi, I'm really pleased to hear she's doing well, it was a bad injury so it's great to get feedback that she did well
