The reception team at Phipps Hill are friendly and helpful and Kishor, the vet, has always been gentle with my dogs and understanding of their problems and my concerns. The service and care my 2 German Shepherds have had from the Kishor and the girls has been all I could have asked for.

I have a rabbit which I purchased from pets at home, i decided to give the vets at home team although two different people tried to put me off as they had bad experiences! Really wished I had listened as my rabbit needed a procedure and to cut a long story short it didn't work and my rabbit was still suffering, i contacted them, the receptionist was very understanding and polite but suggested i needed to speak with the practice manager..who again was very polite but informed me i would have to pay the consultation fee even though it was down to them i had to come back! I was told I had left it to long- i called 2 week's after procedure then again after that but was told 4 weeks was to late and they had no record of my 2 week call..even though I do! I will now listen to my friends and use their vet!! I
Vet ResponseThank you for taking the time to provide your feedback, we are sorry to hear that you are dissatisfied with the service provided to your rabbit. Unfortunately, consultation fees apply for all conditions regardless of whether the patient is being seen for the first time or for a follow up check. There are cases where follow up checks with a vet are not charged, however this is limited to patients that have undergone surgical procedures. On behalf of the team, we would like to wish your rabbit a full recovery.

My 2 cats have been with Vets4pets for several years after transferring from another vet that i was not happy with. My cats both suffered with the long term condition of hyperthyroidism so had to have regular check ups, and I have always found all the vets to be very friendly and knowledgeable when dealing with them. Sadly we have just lost both our cats (for completely different reasons) just 6 weeks apart. I cannot thank them enough for their kindness and compassion at such a terrible time. They clearly explained what was wrong along all the options available to us, and fully supported our decision. I would not hesitate to recommend them.
Vet ResponseDear Mrs Breathwick, We would like to offer our sincere condolences to you and your family at this difficult time following the sad loss of dear Oliver and Alfie in such a short space of time. Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a lovely review of your experience with us; this feedback has been shared with the team and we all greatly appreciate your kind words. With best wishes, The team at Vets4Pets Pipps Hill

We rushed our dog in as an emergency a few weeks back, she was very sick but Shweta and the team have been absolutely amazing from day one! After necessary tests and investigations which the vets constanly kept us up to date with and gave us results as soon as they were in Shweta had a diagnosis and performed surgery. We were kept informed throughout the the whole process with our dogs progress her prognosis was poor but thanks to the determination and care of the whole team our little lady is back to her old self. We have been treated with so much care and respect by all. The vets, nurses and reception team are all so kind. We are eternally grateful to Shweta and the whole team for saving our dogs life, when we visit our little lady drags us in she can't wait to see everyone and she's like a little celebrity when she gets in with kisses and cuddles from all the team. Words cannot tell you how grateful we are. Thank you.

Our Jet was a rescue dog, he was being treated by Shola whilst still at the rescue centre so to keep things simple we decided to continue to use Companion Care. Over the 6 years that we had Jet we visited fairly regularly, from annual health checks to major surgery and finally our last visit with Jet, we couldn't have asked for better treatment and consideration. We will continue to visit this practice with our new four legged family member as they are now classed as OUR VETS. Thank you to all x

I have had my kitten spayed here and was very impressed with all aspects of it. From the consultation to the after care everything was as it should be....this surgery is well ran and still manages to find time to get to know your pets. The place is clean and organised and the staff are very helpful but professional. I was a bit dubious to begin with as this was the cheapest vets I found.....but I received a good quality of service and was always reassured to know that they care about the animals_not just the money. A month later I had my dog spayed here....once again I received a good quality service but at a reasonable price. All members of staff seem to have a genuine love of the animals and nothing is too much trouble. All aftercare was included in the price and I was encouraged to contact them if I had any concerns..both my pets had no complications but I was encouraged to contact them if I had any concerns. Caring and patient staff and good value.

Sadly I needed to take one of my sweet but aged, Pekingese for euthanasia last week and my dear little dog was treated with the utmost kindness and consideration. Having to make the awful decision is nothing but horrendously stressful and emotional to say the least, but it was all handled sympathetically and with dignity, for both my little dog and myself, for which I thank Vets4pets Basildon from the bottom of my heart
