The vet who saw mum and pups was lovely. However I was disappointed that the consultation fee paperwork ommitted the pups, on further phone call I was asked what type of consultation I had? When I said I had paid for a full mum and pup consultation and asked for this to be on my paperwork it was agreed to be sent (surely this is protocol). Received paperwork only to see that mum is down as CREAM! The dog is BLACK AND TAN! Telephoned again and was asked questions, told it would be amended, I asked for new paperwork to be sent to me...this has not happened! Tried telephoning which rings and cuts off. Realise the vets may be busy but this is poor service and inadequate.

I have had a few bad experiences with different vet practices in Cambridge. I also worried I wouldn't be able to find a vet that is good/ experienced and knowledgable with rabbits. But the vets4pets in beehive are amazing. They're so polite and really do care about your pet. They have been great with my rabbits and I highly recommend. The prices are also not too expensive compared to other vets in Cambridge. They also advise you and make sure you know the after care your pet needs. A lot of vets I have took my pets to have forgotten or just didn't give after care advice.

Whether its for a routine check-up or an emergency, I'd recommend this vet every time. In emergencies, they've seen us straight away without hassle and with great sympathy and consideration. They've got great hours, and are friendly and affordable. They're knowledgeable and are always lovely to my cat.

On Saturday, when our vet was closed for the weekend, our black Labrador retriever somehow lost an entire back claw. With great anxiety we rang Pets at Home, who made an immediate appointment for him with a very friendly , capable and first-class vet, who confirmed that he had indeed lost a whole claw and who straightaway cauterised it, which stopped the bleeding, and sent us home with antibiotics/painkillers and advice on after-care.there was blood all over the surgery floor, but the vet was very kind, didn't seem to mind, and was calm and extremely efficient. We couldn't have wished for better treatment( or more prompt) for Sam, who is walking round with a sock on, and getting better every day. The wound is as clean as a whistle. We shall recommend this service to all our friends and will make it our own veterinary practice from now on. We couldn't be happier or more impressed, and cannot give enough praise.

My cocker spaniel suddenly had difficulty getting up the back step into the house. We needed a vet to see him on a Sunday but our usual vet could only be contacted by 'the out of hours' number which attracts a higher bill. So I checked the Internet for vets available on a Sunday and found this practise at the Beehive in Cambridge. They agreed to see my dog, on a Sunday, thoroughly checked him all over, gave him medication and we received a very reasonable bill. I would thoroughly recommend this practise. Everyone was so friendly and it really seemed they put the animal first without over -inflated costs. My dog was back to his usual self in a couple of days. We were very grateful to be able to see a vet on a Sunday.
