Willows Vet Group - Bridgefoot Veterinary Centre216 Knutsford Road
GeneralHere at Bridgefoot vets we cater for all your pet's healthcare needs in a friendly yet professional manner, we offer a vast range of services from routine procedures (vaccinations/neutering) right through to more complex surgery. We are very competitively priced and you can ask us to beat any advertised offer from another local vet.
Our surgery has recently been refurbished and has all the state of the art equipment you would expect from a modern veterinary facility including in-house blood and urine testing facilities.
We believe that by educating owners and identifying problems early we can lower the cost of looking after your pet in the long term and so we offer a range of free clinics, which are run by our highly trained nurses. The clinics cover topics such as; weight, diet, nutrition, dental advice, parasite control & we also offer free senior health checks to ensure that high quality care is provided throughout all of your pet's life.
Bridgefoot Veterinary Surgery is part of the independently owned Willows Veterinary Group which results in us being able to offer out of hours emergency treatment and around the clock care for your pets. If your pet needed to stay overnight they would be transferred to Beech House Veterinary Centre (our sister surgery) on Wilderspool Causeway. We are a dedicated team who are passionate about providing your pet with a very high level of care - being a relatively small team we believe this offers a more personal experience as both you and your pet will get to know our friendly faces, making trips to the vet more enjoyable and less stressful.

I wouldn't even give these pathetic vets a 1 rating, our beloved cross lab Bobby has just passed away. These incompetent vets sent us home a week ago with tablets for an ear infection, clearly the wrong diagnosis! We are absolutely gutted. Rip my gorgeous faithful friend xx
Vet ResponseOur sympathies go out to the Bobby's owners, the passing of any pet is a very sad time. We do, however, disagree with the owner saying that we gave a wrong diagnosis. The initial appointment was made by Bobby's owner because he had a visible skin problem and an ear infection. These conditions, were examined by a Veterinary Surgeon at Beech House Veterinary Centre. Bobby did not present with any other symptoms or clinical signs. He was prescribed antibiotics and steroids. Bobby was then seen at Orford Lane Veterinary Surgery four days later and both the skin problem and ear infection had improved significantly. Fleas were noticed on examination and the owner purchased parasite treatment. It was planned to see Bobby back 2 weeks later to ensure he was continuing to improve. The fact that Bobby passed away a week later is unlikely to be related to the problems that he presented with but without a post mortem done at the time the cause of Bobby's passing cannot be determined. Once again, our sympathies go out to his owners.

We always get Excellent Five Star Service When we take our dog to this vet surgery, the receptionists are so nice and friendly and so very helpful I would reccommend this surgery to anyone who wants the very best in veterinary care and service as this surgery is the best the vets themselves are absolutely one in a million.

I take my dog to bridgefoot for many years. They have always been compassionate and caring. The staff are so nice. The receptionists especially make you feel welcome and always take time to explain things to me. If ever Charlie is unwell I know he will be in the best hands. He has always received the best treatment and just recently I had some blood tests done which I was worried about the results. I had the vet ring me within the hour to let me know he was OK and given medication for him. He is now 100% better and I wanted to say s big thank you to Emma and Melanie for helping me with his insurance. Thank you bridgefoot for all you have done over the years.

This practice is the best the staff are very professional and so friendly the nurses know our rabbit floppy and our dog onzlo very well both my pets love coming here. After any dog has an operation they don't like to go back to the vets, but not onzlo he gets so excited when we pull up the staff are great I would highly recommend this vets to anyone. We even take our rabbit floppy to vets to have his nails cut because we feel so at ease with them and love that we get texts and letters through the post to remind us about there boosters when there due and we also get texts to tell us when onzlos worming and flea is due.

I've been a customer here for 20 years and have always found the team to be friendly, helpful and caring, with a genuine interest in the pets they care for. The service is always warm and thoughtful, especially when worried about our pets, and Melanie and all the vets are professional and knowledgeable.

I can't recommend BridgeFoot VC highly enough, I've looked for a friendly, honest, helpful rabbit-savvy vet practice in Warrington and close by for 7 years without success, until I brought my rabbits here. Reception staff are a breath of fresh air, a pleasure to interact with, and were even happy to help show me where to write this review! The waiting area minimises the stress of the visit for the bunnies rather than making things worse. Stuart Becker is THE rabbit vet in this area, he specialises in exotics and I've experienced nothing close to his level of knowledge, his manner, interest or professionalism anywhere else. I would not wish to take my beloved bunnies anywhere else, from many years of experience and spending thousands with numerous other vets I know it's very frustrating to want the best level of care and be unable to find it, or to find a vet who knows a little about rabbits, but the reception is such a major issue it's intolerable, rabbit lovers regularly experience all the same issues with substandard vet practices, which are hotly discussed online constantly in groups as poor set-ups, poor treatment etc can cause stress-related conditions in rabbits they didn't have before the visit which can easily and quickly become fatal. I have nothing but good things to say about BridgeFoot, and Stuart, and am very happy and grateful I found them.
