General

Manor Court Veterinary Centre, Tarvin has been looking after local pets for over 26 years although our origins as a veterinary practice go back over 60 years. We are based in the centre of Tarvin opposite the parish church and see clients not only from Tarvin but further into Chester and the surrounding area.

We are a Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Accredited Practice. We are proud to have achieved this accreditation as approximately half of UK veterinary practices do not have accreditation from the UK Veterinary governing body.  To gain this accreditation we must meet and maintain a high level of clinical skills and customer service. Many of our staff have worked at Manor Court for many years which is reflected in the personal service and close relationship we have with our clients - both two and four legged.

We look after dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs and other small furry pets and also have a vet who is very experienced in avian medicine for clients with backyard poultry or pigeons.

We are open 6 days a week and provide our own 24 hour emergency service. As part of the independent Cheshire based Willows Veterinary Group we have access to a 24 hour seven day a week hospital up the road in Northwich to look after critically ill patients. The hospital is also home to a specialist referral unit, Oakwood Veterinary Referrals, with surgeons specialising in orthopaedics, soft tissue surgery, cardiology, dermatology and internal medicine.

5 Stars - 20-01-2016 - JulieHedgerow

I breed hens at Hedgerow Henporium and I have used this practice many times for ailments with my garden hens. Mr Cameron is my vet of choice for birds as he is so knowledgeable. Nothing is too much trouble. His diagnosis and advice is spot on and with his care I have not lost any birds so I am very happy. The bonus is he is able to do lab tests on site so treatment is targeted to the problem rather than second guessing which other vets tend to do. If you keep chickens either in the garden or on a larger scale you wont find a better vet around than this one.
