Welcome to The Firs Vets based in the heart of Kelsall village. We are a small friendly team, here to provide the very best care for your pet at an affordable price.

As small animal vets we can provide everything from routine vaccinations and neutering up to more complex surgery. We also offer veterinary acupuncture which is useful for treating pain - particularly osteoarthritis and also to aid wound healing.

As part of the Willows Veterinary Group we also have a large hospital in Northwich where we transfer our overnight patients to and where they will be looked after by a dedicated night team. We provide our own out of hours service so if you have an emergency your pet will be seen by a Willows Vet Group vet with full access to your records. As both of our vets are on the rota we are part of the out of hours team.

We have our own referral centre in Northwich staffed by European Standard Specialists - these Specialist Vets see difficult cases referred to them by vets from all over the region.

We are always on hand to provide help and advice to pet owners in a friendly and caring manner.

REASSURING AND VERY PROFESSIONAL - MANY THANKS

We took our very nervous, young rescue collie along to the Firs for her injections and examination. They encouraged us to visit the practice a few times beforehand to make the dog feel more relaxed about the new surroundings. All the staff were great with her and because of their efforts the examination was no problem at all! Fiona, the vet, did not make us feel rushed and was kind and thorough when dealing with our dog.

I cant praise Fiona and all the staff at the vets at Kelsall enough when we lost our beloved dog recently they were so kind and thoughtful and then recently our little jack Russell Bob swallowed a stone they were amazing in the way they treated him and us I cant fault them all the staff are really lovely and looked after Bob I wouldn't take my pets anywhere else fabulous and friendly Vets.

Treated my very nervous rescue dog lovely , came for all his boosters and check up for the first time since we got him. It makes such a difference to make his experience at the vets not something to be scared of and they certainly did this . We have an elderly cat currently having treatment and they couldn't be more helpful. Clean and welcoming and well worth using this practice

Like most people with a furry family, I've had a few vets over the years but The Firs really is the best ever and treat me and my pet like family. They are so enthusiastic about the health and welfare of the animals that are brought to them. You really feel confident your pet is being given the best. My cat was diagnosed with a sarcoma last year. The quality of the care for my cat and support for me was wonderful. They were also honest because the prognosis wasn't good but am happy the outcome was - not in the all clear but nearly -fingers crossed. So thank you
