Unfortunately the service I have received at Your Vets in Nuneaton has been appalling from the beginning. Including misdiagnose of an ailment in my puppy, inaccurate dosage of medication, pressure selling for neutering and finally today the inaccurate quoting of neutering costs. I attended today to have my dog spayed after previously being quoted a price. I was then told that the price I had been quoted was incorrect and that the fault was mine. Having previously written the quote down I knew full well that the amount quoted was correct. Instead of an apology I was told that I was lying. Due to their being no management in the building to deal with the issue I was forced to leave the vets with my dog. Needless to say I shall not be returning.
Vet ResponseI am sorry that you are disappointed by the level of service you received when presenting your pet for neutering last Friday. We take allegations of misdiagnosis very seriously and I would strongly recommend you contact the practice directly so that I can investigate further. I am aware that your pet had issues with her front legs over a year ago and was in the process of being referred to an orthopaedic specialist at our Coventry hospital for further investigation. Some minor orthopaedic abnormalities can resolve of their own accord, which is a good thing, and I can only assume this is why she was not presented to our Coventry orthopaedic team last year. We strongly recommend neutering based on the clear health benefits to your pet. Unplanned pregnancies, mammary tumours and pyometra, for example, can have a serious effect on your pet’s health as well as being incredibly expensive to address in comparison to neutering at a young age. I apologise for the confusion over neutering pricing. I suspect you were mistakenly estimated the discount rate for members of our Healthy Pet Club. Although our recent neutering promotion has expired, in this case I would be happy to honour your prior estimate if you joined our Healthy Pet Club. Thank you for a lovely warm welcome when I dropped in unplanned this morning, after our cat Violet had been viciously attacked last night. Everyone made a lovely fuss of Violet and I felt I like a valued customer. I didn't have to wait long, which was great and the vet was very kind and gentle with her. She's recovering well and we've had a good play with her toys tonight. Thanks again

What a fantastic service we had a very poorly rat after phoning 2 other vets practices and being told they have finished for the day and I would have to go to coventry to the emergency out of hours service that would charge us £90 just to be seen I called your vets at 6.50pm and was told to come straight up we were greeted by fantastic staff who immediately took our Scooby off to see the vet even though he was to poorly to save we were treated with compassion and did feel rushed even though the practice was closed we would highly recommend the practice to every one. A very big thank you to all the staff.

We took our dog scooby 2wks ago with a bad ear/skin infection,we pre warned the vet that he hated the vets with a passion(,due to having a bad time at a previous vet).As we predicted he acted up massively and had to be double sedated and then given ketamin, The vet (Mike)put him on a course of antibiotics and steroids,we saw a massive difference in just a few days.The treatment scooby received was amazing,today 2/3/17 we have to take him back for a check up and may have to be sedated again. Hopefully not as the improvement is huge,I have felt like a wreck all day waiting as I know it is going to be really traumatic for him and us,but Mike is fantastic and does put us at ease,I will always use this practise as the treatment of the pet and the owners is second to none.

We recently had to have our elderly, ill dog put to sleep. I would like to thank the staff for their respect and kindness during this sad time and for the touching card we received a couple of days later.

I took my three rabbits for three different appointments, but they were seen all together. It was not rushed in any way and the vet I spoke to had plenty of time to chat about options for dealing with my rabbits knee problems. They made me feel like my pets were the cutest rabbits they'd ever seen (which of course, they are!) Very reasonable prices and friendly caring staff. :)

I've used this vets for the last 15 years but always at their old premises and always had a excellent and valued service. Took my cat today as old and off his legs. I really expected to be advised to have him pts as previously these vets have been very open and honest in their assessments. Instead was told needed scans and painkillers. Then after expensive tests told needed pts. So cost me £210 to come away with my dead cat. I feel that this was done to make money since they have move to new premises. I know some of the vets there are excellent so would in future insist on seeing one of them.

WE would like to express how kind and professional all the staff have been over the years. Our cat was put to sleep and the vet and nurse were so kind. They took us straight through to a lovely room with flowers, dimmed light and cushions. We were treated with respect and care. Ally went in peace. The new Camphill site is very good with lots of parking. Thank you all again
