\n Our 1.5 year old Sprocker was very ill a few days ago.\r\nHe is usually bouncing off the walls and full of energy but 2 days ago he kept collapsing and tail tucked between his legs, not right at all.\r\nWe rushed him down to Maldon Vets for Pets, our local vet for both our dogs.\r\n\r\nThey kindly saw us immediately and put him on a drip.\r\nThey did xrays and took blood and various other tests.\r\nEverything they could test and look for was done but nothing showed the cause.\r\nHis temperature was very high, so as well as the drip he was on antibiotics in case of infection and pain killers.\r\n\r\nAs thei day care was ending they explained where the overnight vets was and how the procedure works and we took him to Witham.\r\n \r\nAt Witham they were very reassuring and would contact us IF there was any deterioration.\r\nWe collected him the next morning to take back to Vets for Pets.\r\nAt first he seemed no better BUT after a few minutes outside he decided to have a little sniff which was a good sign.\r\n\r\nWe had to go home for a short while until Vets for Pets opened again and in that time our little doggy got back some of his zing.\r\n\r\nWhen the vets opened we took him in and he had improved again.\r\n\r\nSo far, after 3 days he is back to normal, as far as we can see.\r\n\r\nHe will finish his antibiotics but doesn't appear to need the pain killers.\r\nWe are very thankful to the Vets for their skill and professionalism. The Locum Vet was VERY thorough and the staff throughout have, as always, been friendly and kind.\r\n\r\nAnyone who might think that Vets for Pets is not for them then think again. At Maldon they are so nice and caring and we have recommended them since we started with them a few years back.\r\n\r\nAlthough no one knows what caused his collapse and pain, without their help there could well have been a different outcome.\r\nThankyou again!!!\r\n <\/p>\n <\/div>\n \n \n
