What are the benefits of winning an award?

• An award tells existing and prospective clients that your practice delivers excellent customer experience, from value for money to professionalism, client care to cleanliness and respect for the animal.
• The awards help to guide pet owners to find a brilliant vet for their pets.
• Overall Gold winning practice enjoys an awards ceremony and presentation for staff and clients. Since the awards have been running, the awards celebration and after party have been enormous fun for the community and it’s a prize that congratulates the veterinary practice as well as thanking the clients too.
• VetHelpDirect supports the top winning practices by providing a press release to share with their local media, in the past we have even managed to achieve local BBC radio coverage too!

We have a number of categories, so there are plenty of opportunities to win, which we hope promotes a higher standard of care and feedback across all veterinary practices.

Who decides the winners?

The winners are selected based on independent reviews made by pet owners. For a practice to win, they simply have to build up positive reviews from their clients online. They can use both their listing on VetHelpDirect.com and Any-UK-Vet.co.uk to log the reviews.

The practice with the most 4 or 5 star reviews, from February to February each year, will be announced. There is an overall Gold winner, plus Silver and Bronze is also recognised. There are also several categories such as Best vet in a region, Best equine vet, Best small practice and more, so there are plenty of opportunities to gain an award.
