Awareness days for vet social media inspiration

It can be hard to plan social media content in advance, particularly as the world is in an uncertain state at the moment and various things you had intended to share may not be appropriate or relevant in the coming months. However, one way to combat staring into a blank online space is to use Awareness Days. We have collated some of the more relevant ones relating to animal welfare, pet ownership and the veterinary world for you to share on your social platforms.
With each post you can share the link to the cause directly, or some of your own recommendations (particularly with local suggestions for Walk in the Woods Month, or what birds you can expect to see during Backyard Bird Count) as well as asking your clients to react and comment on the post itself. Asking clients to post photos of their pets as a way of interacting is a popular and lovely way to get communication flowing. Enjoy!
