Visited the Ickenham branch for a regular check-up for my cat. It was the first visit for my kitten and first visit at this vet and absolutely pleased with the service. The team is lovely, helpful by answering all my questions, nice to me and gentle with the kitten. Will continue to go to this vet and will for sure recommend to friends.

The vet and reception staff were fantastic. I couldn't fault the service provided. The Vet was very helpful and caring. She had useful advice and I feel she really did care about my daughters 2 guinea pigs. The only criticism I have is that the cost was very high. It amounted to just over £35. This was for clipping nails and checking on a clump of hair that needed to be shaved off of our long haired piggy. The cost for smaller pets (guinea pigs / hamsters etc)should be lower and I feel that some other pets may suffer as other owners may not be able to afford (or expect) such high costs to get simple issues looked at by a professional.

Bree, one of our rescue dogs,is 7 years old. Her past history is unknown to us. She has a great fear of vets and receiving any treatment or having examinations. Vincent, our vet at Medivet, Ickenham has shown exceptional care, compassion and understanding towards Bree. He always takes time to calm her by talking to her and making a fuss of her before he examines her. She is now starting to trust him to do what is necessary. Bree was recently diagnosed with Glaucoma, and sadly Vincent had to remove her left eye - a worrying and distressing time for all. Vincent and his team have been wonderfully caring and professional and have supported us during this stressful time by taking time to explain and answer all of our questions with understanding and patience and thankfully Bree is making a good recovery. We cannot express our gratitude enough to him and his team. We feel we are very fortunate to have a vet as compassionate, understanding and professional as Vincent. We highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a veterinary practice and everyone we have spoken to who also take their pets to Vincent are all of the same opinion. Our heartfelt thanks to him and the team for everything they do for all four of our pets.

we would like to thank Tonja and her team at ickenham and watford for the life saving treatment of my cat Eddie.some cruel idiot shot him,and if it wasn;t for the speedy proffesional care that they gave him,he would be no longer with us.He spent five days with the wonderful caring staff and thakfully he is on the road to recovery. He is home now and being a rascal,he doesn;t like his meds and we have to fight to keep him in at night.OUR saying, you cant keep a good CAT down. Many thanks,EDDIE and family.xxxx

My cat (Velvet) stopped eating and just wanted to sleep, so I took her to Medivet. They could not have been kinder. Velvet was given a thorough examination, including blood tests, and ultimately she was taken to their hospital for two days, where she had an ultrasound, x-rays and more tests. At all times I was kept informed of how things were going, what I should do and how Velvet was coping. I'm glad to say that she is home now, and doing well. I think without Medivet I might have lost her. They were all really kind, and I felt reassured by their huge level of expertise. Nothing was too much trouble for them. I would thoroughly recommend Medivet.
