Churu for cat with urinary issues?

My boy loves Churus (tube treats) but he's on a urinary diet (possibly forever). Hello - we will not authorise you to give treats against your vets' advice and might add that there is no point paying for a special diet and then ruining the carefully concocted balance with extra treats.  I dont know your cat and am no nutritionist, but perhaps you could talk the reasons over with your vet and possibly the food company's nutritionist, in order to help you to understand where the level of importance rests on this issue and to quantify any wriggle-room that you feel may exist.
