Good afternoon everyone May I ask you for your advice and opinion in this matter. My cat is 4 y.o and has high CRE and GLU with normal SDMA. The CRE is 2.2 mg/dL, GLU is 156 mg/dL and SDMA is 10 mcg/dL. His diet is mainly cooked chicken, chicken hearts and gizzards with Canvit 30gram weekly and omega 3 once a week, he doesn’t drink water that much but I try to add some in his meals.   IMG_1271e1444c41-b1af-4470-a7b3-d45270dad0ab

Hello.  I would never advocate supplementing a cats' diet with anything in the 'vitamin and mineral' line that has not been directly authorised by your vet.  That high creatinine may be because your cat is dehydrated in which case, adding more Sodiun Chloride (salt) to the diet may not be the effect that your vet is looking for.  I have not done the necessary maths here but would certainly ask them; where a good diet is being fed, nutritional supplements are frequently redundant.

I do not have enough information to make this decision but your vet can check.
