Is our Cat male or female ?

Our cat was small when we found it. Took it to a vet and he said it was a female but now after a few months it seems like he's a male. I'm confused, please help, thanks.

Hello!  I can't resolve this screen as well as I'd like to, so I'll describe what male and female cats should look like and let you make up your own mind.  If you're ever unsure, it's best to ask your vet to check again in person; accidents and abnormalities have been known to happen.  They can also re-scan the chip to ensure that it's the same cat, if that could possibly be an issue.  With the cat standing on its feet, the top hole is the anus.  It has an obvious sphinter; a ring of muscle that keeps the gut closed.  This is where the poo comes out and is exactly the same in the male and female.  Directly below the anus, there is a second opening - in the female, this one's a slit.  The slit and the hole in a female cat can look like an upside-down exclamation mark and the slit starts within a short space, less than a centimetre, of the sphinctered hole.  In the male, there are two round holes - the anus and the hole at the end of a backward pointing penis.  The sides of the penis are sunk into the tissue and rarely seen.  Between them, there's a larger gap; a couple of centimetres of clearance.  Between the aus and the end of the penis, in the adult male cat, is a pair of testes.  Remember that in neutered cats, the testes are shrinken and shrivvelled and sometimes even appear to be missing completely.  I hope that this helps.

Please could I reiterate the importance of checking this in context;  i cannot see this clearly enough to give you an answer.  Your cat does not look as expected in this picture, hence the importance of checking the patient in context.
