Although I had prompt and excellent emergency care I waited over 4 weeks for the claim to get to my insurer, leaving me in financial debt. In spite of several calls and assurance that forms would be done, they were not . Admin staff did not chase the matter until 4 weeks had gone by and I can only assume that this practice do not have any empathy or care about customers dealing with unexpected bills and I have never had this length of wait or lack of interest at any other vets

Vet Response

Dear Gladys Thank you very much for your feedback. We learn from feedback. I am the vet that completes the insurance claim forms. I was away from work for a few weeks when we saw your pet. On my return, my receptionists did tell me that you had called and I did complete your claim form as soon as I could. I try to complete the insurance claim forms in a timely manner and I am sorry that you feel we let you down. I hope your boy is doing well. Regards Daniela

Thank you so much for seeing our Springer, Autumn (Dyke) on Friday 12th April, 2019. Having just had a tumour removed from her leg, we were alarmed to find a big lump on her chest whilst on holiday in Rhoslefain - turned out to be a reaction to a tick bite! Special mention for Annette (reception) and Daniella (vet) for being so lovely and helpful, fitting us in at short notice and making such a fuss of Autumn. Really, really good value too. We will have no hesitation in recommending Cambrian to friends and colleagues.

Vinnie our 13 year old Weimerana Collie cross became suddenly very ill on Sunday afternoon. I telephoned Cambrian Vets and the vet arrived at the house in 20 minutes, she examined Vinnie and made a diagnosis. She explained everything to us and told us clearly what the options were. He passed away with the most possible dignity. Throughout this painful time we have been treated by everyone at Cambrian Vets with the upmost compassion and kindness.

I can't recommend this practice highly enough,,the staff are ,kind, helpful and very professional and always keep in mind that our pets are very precious to us. My dogs love to go to the vets, knowing very well that Auntie Sue (veterinary assistant ) will give them a big fuss. I would recommend this practice to everyone and wouldn't dream of taking my dogs anywhere else,,,

On holiday recently Angus our cocker spaniel became very poorly with stomach pains. We rushed him to Cambrian Vets who took care of Angus and discovered that he had eaten sand, stones and wood off the beach. Angus stayed at Cambrian for 24 hours and made a full recovery. Thank you to all the wonderful staff who took care of our little boy and kept us up to date throughout his stay, we were able to visit Angus several times and were extremely impressed with the service. Thank you Cambrian!

For 15 years, we have had a chalet in the area and have many times had to use Cambrian vets for our various dogs. Although the personnel has changed (from Mr Jenkins on), the care and service has always been outstanding. I cannot recommend them too highly!

A big thank you to all the team at cambrian vets in tywyn for saving Taffy from almost certain death. Ref Chew bones.Taffy was quickly diagnosed as having a blockage and Sian perfomed emergency surgery on him to save him and the after care we recieved on his recovery was exemplary, with Sian phoning me in her own time on several occasions to check on his progress. a big thanks also to Sophie who helped out with Taffy who can be a bit of a handful at times. I would strongly recomend this practice to anyone for their pets wellbeing and care.

I have been really impressed With Sian and team. They have been kind, thoughtful and most of all have taken time and patience to discover my dogs condition. Sian has gone to great lengths to find a solution for her. Thank you very much, Jules and Lolly

A massive thank you to vet, Sian, and her team at Cambrian Veterinary Centre, for the fantastic emergency care they provided for our little pug Ernie. Whilst we were on our honey moon in the local area, Ernie was viciously attacked on the beach by a bigger dog, and required urgent treatment to his throat and eyes. Sian saw us with only minimal notice, and could not have been kinder or more sympathetic. Her treatment of Ernie was first class, and she was also great with my husband and I (my husband had also been bitten and we were both in shock). Sian provided excellent aftercare for Ernie, fitting him in for a follow-up appointment the day after the attack, and offering advice over the phone. We couldn't be more grateful to Sian and her team for helping us through such a horrible incident, and heartily recommend this super little veterinary centre. Thank you from Verity, Chris and Ernie (Reading, Berks).

Vinnie our 11 year old dog became suddenly and seriously ill, he collapsed. Within 15 minutes two drips were running and he had antibiotics and pain relief. He was too poorly to come home so one of the vets 'slept' on an airbed next to him all night. He was seen again the next evening for pain relief. He is now home and back to normal thanks to the prompt and accurate diagnosis and treatment.
