Worst vets ever. Been going there for the last 10 months and after our last two visits we’re not planning to ever go back in. Be prepared to wait for 40-50min for your appointment - always running late. Doggies are getting stressed and anxious in a waiting room. Constant lies - ordered hdppi shot and on a phone they were like ‘sure we’ll get that ordered for you’ however when we came in the vet told us that apparently they don’t do hdppi and that’s what been told to me on a phone. Absurd. Like if you make a mistake - own it and say sorry instead of blaming me. Same happened with both doggies. Vets are very rude, insulting and don’t even listen to what I’ve got say. I’m very disappointed & honestly just sad, cause these are my doggies and they mean the world to me, meanwhile these vets only care about the money. I just hope that no one else has to go through this. If any of the surgery owners are reading this - please don’t ever contact me & try and make it better, there’s nothing you can do now and I don’t want to talk to you ever again.

Vet Response

We are sorry that you did not experience the high level of care and service that we are recognised for. We would like the opportunity to discuss your concerns further, however respect your wishes to not be contacted. As a popular Veterinary surgery we try our best to meet our clients demands and see all patients on time however, unfortunately emergencies do happen and in these situations we prioritise the pets in need of our urgent care. On the day of your appointment we explained there was an emergency to all waiting Clients. We acknowledged that this was an inconvenience and deducted a discretionary amount from your bill as a gesture of good will. We do not stock DHPPi at our surgery as the additional component parainflueuenza (Pi) is covered by the Kennel Cough vaccine, which offers protection against parainfluenza and another virus (Bordetella). This offers the best possible immunity for those clients with concerns about exposure to kennel cough. our veterinary surgeon offered you the option of the additional Kennel Cough in your consultation, which was refused. We are disappointed and surprised by your comments regarding our veterinary surgeon and will be sure to look into this further. We pride ourselves for our caring professional service. If you do wish to speak to us, please call the surgery and ask to speak with the practice manager. Kind Regards, Croydon Vets

The service at this particular vets is outstanding and the best i have ever been too. The receptionists were extremely helpful and able to reasure me during a difficult time with one of my pets. They are very kind and a delight to visit. David the vet was brilliant, so professional and went above and beyond during my visit. Great staff who always have time to explain procedures etc to you, even when they are extremely busy, nothing is too much for them. Shame only one vet, nurse and receptionist here as it can get extremely busy. I wouldn't take my pets anywhere else and highly recommend this surgery.

Vet Response

We are sorry that you feel that our pricing did not meet your expectation. We strive to provide the very best in healthcare at an affordable price to our clients. As we mentioned to you the price of our Malaseb is higher than an online pharmacy, because unlike a pharmacy we are unable to buy in bulk as the demand for this product is not high enough for us to store large amounts onsite. Although the treatment is cheaper online, they will not offer medical advice on how to use the shampoo or support any issues that are ongoing with skin conditions that we would provide to you. Please do call us if you need any further advice.
