On the 1st of July my dog got very sick while we were on holiday and we were told to go to Easter Ross Vets in Tain. When we called them up they were so friendly and helpful. When we got there the lady at the desk was helpful and realised that something was wrong with my dog. After about 5mins my dog and I saw the vets and she was very helpful and told us to go to Invergordon because they had a bigger vets there and my dog could get one on one care. We then took him there and where told we would get a call later on that day to find out weather we were collecting him or not. We got a call about 3 telling us that he was better and that they think he was just dehydrated but unfortunately at 6pm my mum got a call about my dog and we found out he had got worse and he had to have a ultrasound where they found he had cancer in 2 places his spleen and liver. We were then told I might survive the night. I went with my mum the next morning to see him and it was the worst day of my life as we had to put him down but the vet there was so kind and gentle and my dog looked so peaceful. After we had to sign things about what would happen to his body and they said that things like this has happened before so they are used to posting the ashes. my dog was 9years and 10mounths and I had only had him for 10mounths as I rescued him from the SSPCA. I love Easter Ross Vets and will never forget how helpful they were. I am glad that they were the ones to put down my best friend as he looked so comfortable and peaceful when I saw him. My do was called Albert Greedy Paws Smith. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!XXX

Thanks for looking after our puppy Moya so well when she came in to be spayed and chipped. Thanks also for calming Moya's humans and giving them sound advice before and after her operation!

Excellent vets very impressed with them. I have recently changed vets after using another local vets who i was very disappointed with and who seemed just out for the money they could get. The Tain branch i couldn't fault, they have been great with all my dogs. Lovely staff and very good value for money.

Hi Lucy Thank you for being so kind, caring and above all professional today. It was not easy for either my niece nor I to have her pony put to sleep - but you made the whole process bearable. Indeed my niece tweeted that we have the best vet ever.... just though you should know. thanks again sheila

I have had my pets registered in a few different practices over the years (as I have moved areas). When I stayed in Invergordon I mainly saw Paco and he was always very thorough and I could tell that he genuinely cared. Since moving to Dornoch we have mostly seen Lucy in the Tain branch. My dog, also Lucy who is 12, is starting to have old age niggles so we have seen Lucy fairly regularly over the past year. I know that vet Lucy really cares for my Lucy and apart from getting her temperature checked once (!) Lucy enjoys paying vet Lucy a visit. Once when Lucy was quite unwell I called the out of hours service and Lucy was lovely and I wasn't made to feel that I was wasting her time. After treating Lucy at the surgery vet Lucy called me a few days later to check up on Lucy which I really appreciated. Lucy and my two cats are my little darlings and I feel privileged to know that they are in such caring & competent hands. I mustn't forget all the reception staff in Invergordon and Tain as they are all very helpful too and I enjoy our wee chats while I'm waiting. Many thanks to you all xx

I just wanted to say how fabulous Lucy the vet is. When I had to put my cat down she was so patient and explained everything so clearly and was very caring and I could tell she genuinely cared for my cat. She is such a caring, friendly and professional vet. Thank you so much.

When we moved up here our priority was to find a friendly , 1st class vet. After asking around Easter Ross came highly recommended. We are very happy to say they were right! We know that whatever happens our "girls" are in very caring and experienced hands. This includes the veterinary assistants who are always so friendly and helpful. We also like the way they help in the local community from "pet First Aid" evenings to judging at the local dog show. Well done guys

Paco and his team have looked after my dogs for many years, and they would always be excited to go into the vets! Never had to drag a dog in there - maybe they just sense that everyone there is like a friend to them. Jodie is old now, and has the best care and attention from everyone. When poor Bruce had his acupuncture sessions he barely flinched - Gail was fantastic. Well done you guys!

I would like to thank Easter Ross Vets for the care shown to Finn over the last few years. But a very very special thank you to Lucy who was so professional and also so caring in helping my old dog Finn to pass on. She couldn't have been nicer and this helped me and my daughter to cope at a very sad time. Thank you Lucy. Helen and Laura x
