Have used the Calne surgery for nearly 20 years and I have always been happy with the support and treatment my pets have received.

Excellent vets. Both my dogs go to hale calne and all the lady's that cover reception are brilliant. Always happy to help. Vets are caring and explain everything that's happening with the treatment plan. My dog just diagnosed with diabetes and I can't thank everyone enough for the support and help.

We registered with the Calne branch when we moved to Wiltshire 30 years ago. Calne have always been most helpful and professional when dealing with our dogs, cats (and pet ferrets). As Chippenham are only visited in times of stress (ie accidents, operations or worse!) they have a more serious attitude which can come over as brusque. A special mention for the Calne receptionists and vet Alison. Of course we can always grumble about the charges but one suggestion I would make is that a small fee is added to each consultation so that when the inevitable happens and a dearly beloved pet dies....owners are not faced with a cold clinical final account.

It’s hard to comment as I have both small and large animals. As a whole your large a Vets are great. The small animal prices are far too expensive, the vets aren’t as aggressive at treating issues as I would like which results in multiple visits and increase in medicine. Which I struggle to afford. My comments are based on chippenham branch as I use both. I always recommend you, I’ve changed my work animals to your practice and I feel confident that my animals are in good hands. I wouldn’t go anywhere else unless I needed emergency surgery for my horse, in which case I would go to three counties equine as I trust my friend/Vet nurse to care for my horse.

We have been using the Calne surgery for our cats since we moved here 19 years ago. In this time we have had some heartache, a geriatric cat with a thyroid problem and a juvenile with terminal cancer to name but two instances. Whatever life throws at out cats, the Calne surgery has been there to treat them with care. I would not hesitate to recommend the Calne surgery to any other pet owner.

I usually attend Chippenham, but had occasion to visit the Calne surgery with one of my foster cats. Really friendly, welcoming and efficient, with the usual high standards of care I know from the Chippenham hospital. Would definitely go again if I can't get into the Chippenham branch.

Always friendly and helpful, my elderly dog has issues that are not seen but they take time to listen properly, discussing options and making you aware of side effects if there are any. My dogs are happy visiting this Vet, even when we pass the door and have no need to go in they always stop at the door hoping they can go in to visit! Highly recommend both Vets and terrific front office staff.
