I had to have my beloved Dog put to sleep 5/11/19 as he was 17 years old and had become very poorly. I was devastated as you can imagine and barely able to function when I arrived at Buckley House Hucknall. All the staff involved were so respectful of the heartbreak I was feeling. My Dog was treated with the up most care and dignity throughout I cannot thank the staff enough and I would recommend this vets practice to anyone thank you.

I was disbelief to review a receive an email from Medivet with a section on cleaning my dog Ripples teeth. My dog has been passed away nearly a year. Think was do upsetting. After calling Buckley and was advised I would get a call from the office manager (which has not happened) I find this really disappointing to say the least. This is NOT the first time this has happened. The vets are amazing as are the VN' s but selling half of the business from Buckley to Medivets is the worse thing the owner ever did. I am constantly being emailed to advise about treatment and flee treatment. As a animal owner and a customer of Buckley for 29 years I think I am aware when my cats medications are required. A very upset and disappointed client. Ratings based on this experience.

I feel that no matter what is wrong with my pet cats , this practice will put me and my cats first and at ease - they all love Miriam

We have received terrible service tonight from this practice in Hucknall. It really has gone downhill. We waited over 1 hour to be seen despite phoning 1 hour before our appointment time to check they were running on time. Our cat was in his carry case for nearly 2 hours by the time we arrived home. The vet's injection technique was very poor and wanted to inject our cat again which we declined! We were also charged for 3 lots of worming treatment yet only received 1 lot of treatment and didn't realise until we arrived home. I would not recommend this place and will be changing vet surgeries as a result of the shambolic service we received tonight.
