Our dog was very ill with an auto immune blood disease and without Andy and his team giving an emergency blood transfusion late on a Saturday night he would have died. We are immeasurably grateful and can't recommend them all highly enough.

I took Tiara (one of our rescue dogs) into see Andy on the 03/01/2017 with an horrendous injury to her hind foot as I thought her toes were dead. After a mammoth consultation to remove and redress the decision was made to get her on the surgery table under a GA and see what could be done. I took her back up the nxt morning with dread in my heart as I thought she'd only have 3 legs the next time I saw her but I knew she couldn't carry on the way she was. After surgery she stayed overnight as need to be sedated again the nxt day to remove and redress the wound. From then on it was every other day up to the vets for dressing changes. She swore at Andy a few times in the beginning but on the whole she was an amazing patient. Tiara lost one and a half toes but thanks to Andy she still has her leg and is doing amazingly well. We've started walking out now and she's loving playing. I'm amazed at how well she has recovered and she'll be looking for her forever home soon. A massive thank you from Tiara and Kim (her foster mum) xx

Very helpful and friendly staff especially the lady on the desk who has a Springer Spaniel herself, the lady vet we saw was very thorough with my puppy and our elder dog. Clean and tidy, welcoming practice

we live in Swanage and although it takes 40 or so minutes to reach the veterinary practice the other side of Wool - it is well worth it as the opening hours are good and out of normal hours service is reassuring - I think we get good value for money and another deciding factor is that there is an excellent animal hospital on site - we have found the receptionists & veterinary nurses friendly and efficient and we have full confidence in the veterinary expertise of the vets we have consulted.

I have absolute confidence in the ability and professionalism of the vets. Every member of staff is polite, friendly and helpful. This positives attitude extends to the animals - you get the impression that the staff as a whole love animals and care about their welfare.

I highly recommend Heathlands because there is always a smiley welcome and the quality of care is excellent. And now there is out of hours cover too - brilliant!

As a former employee of Medivet now working in animal rescue I would just like to say a huge thank you to the team at this branch. You treated a rescue dog called tiara with a very seriously infected foot. Not has your vet only hopefully saved her foot but you did it showing great care and generosity. It is difficult to find vets that will treat rescue dogs with such compassion. Well done and thank you all

The Receptionists are always so friendly. Andy, the Vet we saw was brilliant and explained everything he was doing. He was kind and patient, as was the nurse who also came in to help with my nervous elderly cat. I never have any hesitation at coming to this practice as everyone is so kind and very professional.
