When ordering pet food was asked to pay in advance of collection for an item which used to be stock, this after about 30+ years of being a customer. Not impressed. Was told it was practice policy, not a policy which I approve of. People deserve to be treated as individuals, not all put in the same box.

Took our rescued dobbie to oakfield to have a second opinion after her going to other vet who said cud not find anything wrong with her after doing scans etc. Turned out she had cancer

The pet plan is a con if you stay in it 20years you will still get a bill
Vet ResponseWe are sorry that you are still not happy despite having received a goodwill gesture of £25.84 from us when you cancelled your plan early. We feel that you have misinterpreted the intentions of the plan as throughout Berties's treatments all charges have been correct and in total you have saved £111.17 since joining the plan on October 2014.

My dog passed away yesterday and my husband phoned the vet and they was very helpful and we was advised to take my dog to vets after hours as they recommended that it would be better so we took tulip after hours and the vet was very helpful and showed us the casket we wanted for our dog I would recommend this vet to any dog lovers as the staff are so pleasant and helpful at all times

Having had my cat diagnosed with a tumour (cancer)in his foot by another vet I was not at all happy at the way ambiguous and long explanations were give as to what I should do next.I had heard some people locally talking about Oakfied and how good it was.I moved Rooney and his medical notes to Oakridge.The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating has Rooney first had to have X-Ray's to see if the cancer had spread fortunately it hadn't,t.All was explained to me that now he would have to have his leg amputated.The operation is to be carried out at the vets Atherstone branch.One of the staff had a route printed off for me.When a person sees their pet going through anything like this I believe the main thing they require is empathy,thank you Oakridge, John G.Wood

I called Oakfields early evening after work when my staffy was suffering from severe heat stroke. I called another nearer vet first to be told they could not see him that night or the next day. I then called Oakfields who said I could bring him immediately. The friendly vat treated him quickly and professionally and answered all my questions. He was back to normal and sleeping happily after 30 mins. I used this vet regularly with my last dog but have not had to go for several years with this dog. They have never let me down and always do a good job.

I popped into your practice Saturday 9/4/2016, and enquired as to our dog,,maise,,(who's registered there), being microchipped,, I was quoted,£29,95,,, I,ve just read your web page and it states your offering this service for,£21,62????,, so obviously I,m now cancelling our appointment for ,Friday 15/4/2016 at 10,10am,, and go somewhere else where I feel I,m not being taken advantage of???
Vet ResponseThank you for making us aware that there was a mistake on our website. We have now rectified it. We always review our pricing once a year and try as best we can to keep any price increases to a minimum. We also try to help with costs as much as possible, which is why we offer the Pet Health Club. This allows clients to receive numerous discounts, including half price microchips and cost price pet food as well as preventative health care for their pets.
