My Siamese cat Harold has not been well during the past week, he stopped eating last Friday evening. Despite no outward signs the vets have been positive and caring in trying to find out what is wrong with him apart from an ongoing kidney problem. I am grateful for their concern and advice, and can report that Harold is now eating ( not a lot ) but Little is better than nothing. Thank you to Matt, Richard , Fiona and all other staff who have shown kindness and concern during this worrying time.

Vet Response

Thank you for your lovely review Mary, we are pleased to hear Harold is eating eve if progress is a little slow. Thank you for your appreciation of our vets, if you need further advise please do not hesitate to call us.

Our cat Smokey recently had a broken front leg, Colin Whiting the vetinary surgeon, said it was similar to a typical fracture that 'Springer spaniels' usually do. He carried out a difficult repair, was caring, friendly, empathetic and very helpful and professional at all times. Al the other staff we encountered were also friendly and helpful. Our cat is now enjoying life again, despite being elderly. We would happily take a pet here again.

Vet Response

Thank you Ann for your kind review, we are pleased to hear Smokey is now enjoying a full life.

I have used penmellyn for many years with all the horses I have owned. They treat them with the upmost professionalism and are always very helpful and supportive in whatever decision I have had to make. I wouldn’t use anyone else.

Vet Response

Thank you for your very kind review, it is always good to get feedback from long term clients. Your loyalty to Penmellyn and esp our Equine department is appreciated.

These are totally amazing Vets, nurses and staff, I can not express my emotions that they have given me... we embraced on a journey through Addisons and transitioning to the injection treatment, their compassion was second to non! And then to finally lose my dog, they were unbelievable, such emence compassion..! And understanding!! Truly amazing Vets and practice!!

Vet Response

After my beautiful Labrador Todd collapsed and was admitted, the entire team could not have been kinder or more professional. Throughout the weekend their communication was faultless and managed my expectations of the possibly outcome thoughtfully encouraging me to ask questions at any stage. Despite the weekend hours I was invited to visit Todd whenever I liked. Sadly there was nothing more that could be done to save Todd and the entire team again we're extremely kind and considerate yet remained professional. A huge heartfelt thank you to all the St Columb team.

Vet Response
