Just amazing. My daughter's dog had a tail injury, we were seen immediately. The vet was brilliant, friendly, professional, knowledgeable. The dog had to have s partial tail amputation which was done the same day at an amazingly good price...not that price was our main concern but it was a nice surprise. Just brilliant service and care for the dog from start to finish

I self-referred my dog here due to my vets not having the technology required to diagnose her suspected condition. We were booked in very quickly and were seen by James. He took the time to fully explain what was happening, what they would do, what the results would mean, etc in a way that I, (not a medical professional!) could understand but at the same time, did not treat me like an idiot! The reception staff and the lady who spoke to me upon my dogs discharge were also very courteous and friendly. They all give you the impression that nothing is too much trouble. Despite my dog not being a patient of theirs any longer, I still recieved a phone call from James to see how her treatment was progressing. I rate the whole experience so highly that I shall be transferring my dog to Penmellyn as soon as I can!

A very big thank you to everyone at Penmellyn, always a friendly welcome, very sadly last year I had to have my cat Cookie put to sleep, everyone was so kind and Cookie knew nothing. I have a 3 year old Cockapoo and am in the pet plan for her, this is brilliant as it also includes her worming treatments etc. Very impressed and would thoroughly recommend Penmellyn vets.

Vet Response

Thank you for your fantastic review Kim. We strive to always provide an outstanding service here at Penmellyn and look forward to seeing you and your Cockapoo in the future.

5 Stars - 23-01-2019 - Buster

Buster (cairn)was referred for TPLO surgery .We were given a clear explanation of what was involved and with little delay Buster had one leg done in July and the other in January. On both occasions the nurses and staff were efficient and kind and kept us up to date .Colin Whiting was very reassuring that all went well and Buster should be back to normal .

Vet Response

Thank you for your lovely review, we are so happy to hear that you and Buster had a great experience and that Buster is on the mend.

These have got to be the most thoughtful people. Unfortunately little could be done for my cat recently the vet herself sounded upset on the phone and was so apologetic and sympathetic. They then sent me a sympathy card with his paw prints on it, whilst I was chocked it also made my day, so thank you so so much. Lovely thoughtful people.

Vet Response

Thank you for your kind review Kim, we are delighted you found us so thoughtful and caring. We were very sad at the loss of your lovely cat.

Every person that works in this practice has a genuine love for animals, which clearly shows. Both my pets love going there! It is a very expensive vet but the checkups are thorough. Never gone into an appointment on time though, perhaps a downside to the thorough checkups.

Vet Response

Thank you for taking the time to leave us this kind review, we value our client feedback and use it for staff training. We apologise you had to wait over your time.
