We have used this practice for over 20 years & always had good honest treatment. Also helped us through bad times when our dogs have reached the end of life.

Since taking Danny on as a rescue dog 6 years ago, we have spent a great deal of time at Thameswood. The reception staff are always friendly and helpful. They come and greet you and your pet at arrival. The practice is always very clean and welcoming. I have always felt that Danny is in good hands and that all the staff care for the animals under their care.

I have been coming to this vets since 2000 and Nick and his team of vets , nurses, and reception never fail to live up to expectations; the care and amazing treatment given to my dogs has been wonderful I would not go anywhere else.. I trust Nick's implicitly with buddy's health .

WE have had our Welsh Terrier since a puppy he has has epilepsy since he was 1 year old and has been under the care of Thameswood. Nick, Annie , Laura and Giovanni have been so supportive during his illness. We had to have Bertie put to sleep after 2 years of managing it last Saturday, Nick and Claudine were so good. They made a difficult situation the best it could be, Bertie died with dignity, this is all you can ever ask Thank you. Highly recommend this practice Sue & Simon

The owner of this vets practice is very rude and some of his staff need a course in customer relations!!!

Vet Response

Upon examining a new patient, our vets will endeavour to gather as much clinical history as possible. During our free registration health checks the vet will ask questions in relation to your pet which allows our vets to appropriately examine and treat the pet as required. Our staff involved during your visit were left shocked and upset after the visit and although animal welfare is of the utmost importance to us, as a veterinary practice, we will not tolerate any form of rudeness or abuse towards our staff. Unfortunately in these situations which are very rare, there is an obvious breakdown in communication and trust for which we feel that the best option is to recommend future veterinary care elsewhere.

I have been bringing Lucy to Thameswood for 15 years and this recent visit for an operation was dealt with as professionally as all previous visits. All the staff show a great compassion and empathy to all animals and their owners. Would recommend this practice every time.

Fabulous caring professional support. My bulldogs love visiting Thameswood. Both of my bulldogs have undergone anaesthetics and special consideration is always given due to the respiratory issues associated with the breed. Very friendly, always timely and flexible and they really do go the extra mile to ensure safe, quality care. Special mention for Laura the Vet who cares for Frank and George and the girls on reception who make our visits so welcoming and fun. I feel very confident in the service, level of expertise and appreciate the personal touch. Ruth xx
