When a Labrador doesn't want to eat you know something's wrong. Clare diagnosed the problem immediately and the next day, and 3 tooth extractions later, Lottie was wanting her food again. Thanks to you all for looking after her so splendidly, as always.

Thanks to the team at the Bicester surgery who looked after Gibson after he was attacked by another dog last week. The staff showed great compassion and professionalism from the minute we walked in. Gibson is well on the way to making a full recovery thanks to everyone who was involved. 5 star treatment!

As above my dog,Ludo, collapsed in the garden in all the rain on Thursday afternoon. I was on my own and unable to lift him to get him in to the car. I rang the vet and the receptionist immediately put me at ease and arranged for the vet & vet nurse to visit. They got to the house really quickly and took Ludo back to the practice to examine him. Ludo had to have surgery to remove his spleen,i was kept informed about his condition and was told a nurse would be with him overnight. I cant praise all the staff that were involved enough. Thanks for looking after Ludo so well.

From the minute someone answers the phone to the minute I walk out of the surgery, I am met with unfailingly courteous and friendly staff. The veterinary centre has professionals on hand 24 hours a day, seven days a week who provide an excellent service, from giving reassurance over the phone about minor concerns to treating my dog as an in-patient overnight for more serious issues. I am sure that I am like most pet owners in being concerned about the health and well-being of my dog, but at Hart's I am always confident that he is in good hands.

We have been taking our rabbits for care to Hart Vets for more than 10 years now. So many vets sadly do not know nearly enough about the UK's third most popular pet, and most owners do not seem to realise just how complex rabbits' health needs can be. So after some heartbreaking and plain awful experiences with 'dog-and-cat' vets we finally found Hart Vets, who are genuinely interested in ANY animal. Hart Vets invest in continuous professional development for their staff to keep their knowledge and skills up to date. More than once have they found a new treatment or solution to a problem that looked bad, and that has to be down to their professional curiosity and dedication. This is a compassionate practice which will never give up on an animal while there is even a slim chance for it to have a good quality of life. We have experienced that tenacity first-hand and our rabbits are growing very old very happily as a result.

Having been unsatisfied with another vets, I now use the Hart Veterinary Centre for my four bunnies regularly (for annual jabs and general health check ups) as well as my two tortoises and African pygmy hedgehog. I had an emergency with two of my bunnies who were in the garden when I noticed fly strike, every bunny owners worst nightmare. I rang the vets and was thankfully able to bring them straight it. They checked them for me upon arrival and gave me the option of treatment. I left them there for 24 hours, knowing they were in the best place for care. The relief that I had spotted this horrible thing in time and the fact that the vet at Hart's (Steffi) as well as the full team were so professional and able to act quickly, I have no doubt helped save my bunnies. They returned home to me within 24 hours with some medication. I can't praise the centre enough for helping me, they are good value for money compared to my previous experience elsewhere and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Harts Veterinary Centre go above and beyond the call of duty, no matter which Vet our pets have seen. Our dogs are an extension of our family and we treat them as such, so having 24 hour nursing care for them, when they are ill, is very important and the regular contact from the nurses on how they are doing, is so reassuring. We have been with the Harts for the last 11years and I would highly recommend them to everyone. Dawn Parsons

Having been around pets all my life, mainly cats, I recently had my Siamese put to sleep. Thanks to Hart Vets she had fantastic care and attention for another 2 years. My baby had the quality of life until the end thanks to Hart Vets. Having had a bad time with other Vets these people at Hart really do care and the support they give after is outstanding. These people care. Love you always Teal'c. X

We have, for many years, taken our cats, at varying stages of their lives, to Hart's Veterinary Centre and whether at Bicester or Waddesdon have always received the best of attention and advice. In other words it 'ticks all the boxes'.

I had to report Mr Hart to the RCVS due to really poor service, failure to dispense drugs required for my dog, failure to diagmose correctly and failure to provide the effects of drugs by way of side effects prior to administering the drugs. This made my dog very ill. I strongly recommend that you take a second opinion if you feel that the practice has let you down or failed to provide details of side effects of drugs prior to medication. The RCVS have the complaint registered so this complaint is genuine.
Vet ResponseMr Syrda's opinions are not shared by two independent recognised veterinary specialists in their field nor by a pharmaceutical industry expert. Mr Syrda's issue lies in the fact that his dog has a longstanding respiratory problem. He blames a recent kennel cough vaccine, requested by a referral centre prior to going there, for this condition progressing in an entirely predictable manner. We do hope that his dog is improving as she is a lovely girl.
