We have two cats and during taking into account all appointments ,they have been kind, caring and professional, taking care to explain in simplistic terms any treatments required and the way forward when our male cat, Freddy, was found to have underlying illnesses. During the corona outbreak Freddy still required vital treatment and the practice, with safety measures in place to protect themselves and myself, they went out of their way to ensure that the treatment needed was provided I cannot fault them. To Kay, the vet, a special thanks for her continuing care of Freddy and of Frankie when required. To Angela, receptionist, if she could be cloned the world would be a better place!

This practice had no regard for pet health during the health crisis failing to provide wormer and flea treatment to pets on health plans I have had to cancel mine and i will be changing vets after the virus has gone. Other vets have honoured there plans during these times i will be getting legal advise after the crisis as they have even failed to reply to my emails

Vet Response

Apr 09

Our practice has recently reopened after an unexpected closure due to the current covid-19 situation. As you can understand the situation is changing constantly and we are currently working reduced hours with a skeleton staff. We endeavour to reply to all enquires as soon as possible. During these unprecedented times we are working within the guidelines set out by our governing body the RCVS and the British Veterinary Association who have stated that only emergency work should be undertaken at the present time. This advice which is also in line with the government’s current guidance advises against encouraging any non-essential travel. Flea and worm treatment is classed as non-essential treatment. We are working hard to implement a process which allows parasite treatments to be posted directly to our clients without the need for unnecessary travel or contact between clients and our staff and will update our website and all our clients on health care plans as soon as this becomes possible.

Rang at 5 o’clock and we had an appointment by 5.45. Lovely staff, they never complain when my dog piddles with excitement at meeting other dogs in the waiting area. Thank you for caring for my dogs like they were your own.

I cannot fault this vets. All of the staff from the vet, the nurse and receptionists were incredibly kind, caring and compassionate. They were able to fit me in despite being fully booked. They clearly really care about the animals they care for. A huge thank you.

We have 3 cats, one who is elderly, and I can't recommend this practice and team highly enough. I always feel that not only have they got the best interests of our cats at heart, but of us as owners too. It's a really stressful situation having an ill pet, but with Julia and everyone, (Holly and Amy and the reception staff too) it's made easier by their genuine care for our furry friends and their honest advice regarding treatment options. Thanks all!

Absolutely over joyed that they took care of Bruno so well when he came to stay. He was really well looked after, plus courtesy calls the day after surgery to see if everything was good. Would highly recommend using Vets 4 Pets every time and will be passing to my friends for future use.
