We travel half an hour each way to get there,two bright knowledgeable young vets who genuinely love animals & who we trust implicitly to have the best interest of our pets at heart,great with animals & their owners as are the nurses & reception staff.

Zak is my german shepherd dog, he has poorly paws. Swollen ulcerated areas on all feet. We attended vets 4 pets Moor gate Rotherham. The staff were great they explained diagnosis treatment and length of time it may take to cure the problem. Tests were taken and luckily for zak no mites were present. Previous vets never tested just prescribed antibiotics repeatedly which were lucrative for the vet at £200 a time.

This was our first Dog(Puppy) and the vet was recommended by someone that has used them before, booking an appointment was easy (Next Day at a time that suited us) Vet was extremely friendly, nothing we asked was too much trouble and got an answer. The treatment plans they have are extremely good value for money. This is the type of service you require when you need a Vets :) Thanks you for your professionalism and we will see you soon for Taffys next immunisation

We visited this vets for the first time today as we have recently moved to the area. Alfie, who is often nervous of new people and especially nervous of vets, was seen by Nicola. She had such a calm and friendly manner that she put us all at ease, and Alfie had a successful check up. Many thanks Nicola, we'll be back, hopefully not sooner than next year's check up!

Visited Friday 14th April 2016. Our hamsters had fought overnight and poor Pickles was left in a terrible state when we found her in the morning. Had searched the internet for local vets and after reading the reviews, called Vets4Pets as soon as it opened for an emergency appointment. The receptionist was very sympathetic over the phone while taking our details to register Pickles and told us to come in straight away. On arriving the receptionist showed sympathy/empathy and we were seen after a short wait by a great vet who examined Pickles and suggested that we should do the humaine/right thing and put Pickles to sleep. My 12 year old daughter was beside herself as she had not dealt with death before and Pickles was her birthday present, was comforted by the Vet who explained the Pickles had extensive injuries, loss of blood and was in pain. She also explained the pocedure and that Pickles wouldn't feel anything. We took Pickles home and is now buried in the garden!! Although our visit to the vets was a very sad one, I would recommend Vets4Pets and wouldn't hesitate to take our other pets if we need to.

We had our first visit last night for an annual vac for one of our bunnies. We have searched for years for a good vet that treats us and our bunnies with compassion and kindness. Our rabbits are part of our family and although vets are easy to find for cats and dogs, rabbits are often over looked and not treated with the same care. Both the receptionists were lovely and the lady I booked the initial appointment with, remembered us and came to see our bunny whilst in the reception area which we thought was lovely. When we saw the vet, he was very kind and fantastic with our rabbit who is usually very nervous. We have signed all of our bunnies up to this practice now and won't go anywhere else. If you have a rabbit, please do try this practice as you find politeness and fantastic care as standard. Thank you very much :)

If you want the sort of vet who will come in on his day off to perform tests on your poorly dog then look no further. All the staff from receptionists, to nurses to the vet are all very friendly, approachable and professional. Thank you all for your continuous help with our Milly.

I fetched in a hedgehog this morning and the receptionist wasn't very polite and helpful I found the hedgehog after my dog found it in the garden and it. Was bleeding the receptionist just taken it off me and didn't say nothing bout letting us know how it was or nothing. I have just had to phone the vets to see how it was to find the hedgehog had to be put to sleep the staff on the phone Was very supportive n couldn't apologised as much as they could.
Vet ResponseThank you for your feedback Paula. I appreciate your concern about the way that you feel the situation was handled when you brought in the injured hedgehog in. Let me apologise first and secondly, let me explain the following: 1 - It was unfortunately at a time when we were extremely busy with other cases and just dealing with a road traffic accident out the back, so it may be why it was handled a little quicker than we would have done otherwise. 2 - We do have a protocol set for injured wildlife brought in from members of the public: if a vet or nurse is free at the time, he/she will check the animal, and if the member of the public wants to stay with the animal while checked, that is fine and then following this, the best way forwards for the animal is decided. If a vet or nurse are not free, we ask the receptionist to kindly get the animal from you and explain that as soon as vet/nurse is free, the animal will be checked and either treat it and try to get a sanctuary for recovery, or euthanasia if the injuries are too bad, on welfare grounds, and to get a contact number if you want to be kept updated. Unfortunately, in this instance, this protocol was not adhered to, as explained above, but we did the best for the hedgehog as it was the only thing to do for him, I am afraid, his head injuries were too severe. Please be assured that we treat all wildlife animals with the utmost respect and compassion and so we did with the little hedgehog that you brought in then. My sincere apologies in this instance and thank you so much for giving feedback and for taking the time to do the best you could for this little "fella".
