Excellent service I have a very nervous dog who needs special care. Both vet and nurse Emily were amazing with him. Totally recommend

After having a bad time with my cat feeling that he was not getting better from another vet & the treatment that he was on, twice you were recommended, after you seeing him on Wednesday evening in the last 12 hours he has started to be his normal, cheeky play full self, which me & my husband have missed so much, he has finally opened his eye, which has been closed for just over a week, we can`t thank you enough, to your staff on reception who were so understanding & also to the vet that saw him, for explaining everything in English, & for the treatment to help him while he gets better with his illness, again thank you all so much. From Mrs & Mr Ferry & Albert the Cat.

We have been with this vets for a few years and have received nothing but excellent service for any dog be brought here. However, it's recently we saw just how phenomenal this team is. We very recently lost our senior dog and the entire team were truly amazing with us from start to sad finish. Professional, calm and caring and showed nothing but compassion and love, not only to us but also to our dog. They even sent a condolence card a few days later which was one of the most thoughtful gestures we have ever witnessed. We couldn't ask for more and I can't recommend this practice highly enough. They truly love animals and they care for their owners just as much. Thank you, St. Helens Team, from the bottom of our currently broken but mending hearts, thank you.

I have two dogs that have needed to visit the vets for two very different reasons in the last few months. The older of the two, Molly, needed an operation on her leg, the youngest, Poppy, needed to be admitted to be put on a drip and some antibiotics/anti-sickness meds, as she had been quite poorly. All I can say about Companion Care is that they are fantastic! From the girls on reception, who make you feel welcome when you arrive, to the nurses, to the vets themselves. I felt that even though I had to leave my dogs, I was leaving them with people who were going to take really good care of them. I had been told exactly what was going to be done to them. The vet had talked through exact procedures and I felt that they had Molly and Poppy's welfare as their top priority. The staff made me feel like they were looking after my pets as if they were their own!

We have a 7 year old dog who we have recently had cause to take to the vets on two seperate occassions. Previously we had used an independant vet in St Helens, but had to take our dog to the vet as an emergency, so contacted Companion Care in St Helens as it was a weekend. The service at the initial phone was fantastic and the vet both compassionate and professional. We then were in Wales for the weekend and again needed to see a vet. We contacted the vet at Bangor and explained that we were registered with St Helens, they were very helpful and made an appointment for us within 2 hours. Again the vet was great. I cannot recommend the pets at home highly enough and as an added bonus the value for money (compared to our original vet) is excellent. Highly recommended.
