Absolutely exceptional service from Willows in these difficult times, our family pet Lottie the Sprocker Spaniel needed to have an ultrasound and possibly further tests due to Pancreatitis, i asked my vets to refer me to Willows as i knew they were amazing, well they were even better! Laura Bree an Internal Medicine specialist and Lauren Abbey a Medicine Veterinary Nurse treated our dog Lottie with such incredible care and looked after her like she was one of their own! Thank you so much and carry on doing what you're doing such a credit to the Veterinary world.

We had to come with our beloved kitten in the late night as he suddenly became ill and couldn’t walk or breathe. Due to covid19 we couldn’t go in but everything was managed and done well, they took Leo straight away and spoke to us over the phone to keep us updated. In the end our Leo was put to sleep and me and my brother were heartbroken and in so much tears but the staff dealing with it was so patient and professional. I received a card from the staff today and it made us smile as it was a small but nice gesture. Thank you for making a difficult process a little easier.

Over the Easter weekend Ivy needed emergency care which ultimately saved her life. Cristina and the team were amazing. I cannot recommend the treatment from this practice highly enough. And we’ll be eternally grateful ❤️

My dog Deefa was referred to the Willows and hospitalised whilst his condition was diagnosed . Due to COVID-19 outbreak- my consultations with Fergus were predominantly via telephone. Fergus was extremely professional and explained fully options available to ensure Deefa had the best care. Thankfully Dee is making good progress and I am very grateful to Fergus and his team for the care he received

Our dog was referred to willows as emergency. I understand the limitations at the current time. However, the conversation was very limited with the vet. I wanted to be explained what was done at the clinic given the dog was stressed and nervous and in pain. Kush was bought back out with very brief explanation and bag medication. The empathy and sensitivity was next to none. There was no aftercare explained should the medicine not work. It all felt it was all about taking the money from me. I also called to ask if kush can be taken for walks given the infection. No one called back. Very disappointed with willows.

We are sorry to hear that you were disappointed by your experience of Willows and that we did not meet our own high standards on this occasion. Please accept our apologies that you feel the conversation with the vet was limited and the explanation brief. As you will appreciate, we have had to severely limit any face-to-face discussions between our team and clients during the coronavirus pandemic, as per the guidelines from the government and the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons. Unfortunately we are unable to locate your details from the user name alone however we would wish to investigate your concerns. If you would like to contact us to discuss this further please do call us on 0121 712 7070.

If I could give 0 stars (or in fact negative stars) for value for money I would have done so. The costs are very high indeed, and the cost of medication is outrageous. We were given 7 paracetamol 500mg caplets on our visit this week. Due to current restrictions I was not given a bill at the time but had to pay over the phone once home. I asked verbally for a breakdown but it was not given. When the bill arrived in the post I found that I had been charged £2.52 per paracetamol caplet. I can buy a pack of 16 500mg paracetamol caplets at the supermarket for 70p and had them at home. I was not asked whether we had this at home when my dog was handed back to me in the car park together with the medication. I wrote to the practice some time ago about their medication charges, saying that we should be advised of cost of prescription medication and given the option of a written prescription (which is charged for, understandably) in order to buy online. I didn’t even receive an acknowledgement let alone a response. I am not a happy client at all and will be writing to Willows. I also intend to move to another vet practice.
