We are an independent veterinary practice, operating out of four branches in Newtown, Llanidloes, Crossgates and Knighton. We have been established for over 100 years and are still proud to be owned and managed internally by members of the team.

We are proud to be one of the very few practices in the area to provide our own emergency out-of-hours cover. This means that, in the stressful situation of an emergency, a duty vet from our own practice will be on hand to provide you with the treatment and advice you need. Our telephone line is always personally answered 24 hours a day.

Hafren Veterinary Group is an RCVS accredited practice, one of only two in the whole of Powys, which means we offer a very high standard of comprehensive care to both large and small animals.

Across our 5 branches, we have state-of-the-art equipment allowing for thorough diagnosis and specialist treatment, we also have strong links with referral sites for any procedures not offered on-site.
