Cotts Equine Vets - BridgendLong Acre Farm
Cotts has a team of veterinary surgeons, specialists and nurses who only carry out equine veterinary work.
We have two teams depending on the time of day or night you call. We will arrange a visit and always try to arrange a cheaper (shared) passing visit where nearby jobs are pooled in a round trip, allowing us to spread transport costs.
For out of hours, our reception team is in contact with our experienced duty vet living in Glamorgan. If specialist treatment or surgery is required, Cotts have a separate team on call in our Equine Hospital based in Narbeth, Pembrokshire.
Our Bridgend vets are based in Coity but all Bridgend branch office adminsitration is still taken care of at our hospital site ar Narbeth, Pembrokshire.

James has dealt with my horse for the last two days and although I couldn't be there in person he kept me fully informed of his findings and was very professional and thorough in his explanations. A huge thank you Laura and Diablo

My horse suffered a kick in a nasty area on his leg and when John lewis arrived I was awaiting xrays to detect a possible fracture. I was extremely nervous anxious and emotional. My lovely yard owner dealt with the consultation and John told me no xray was needed as there was clearly no bone damage from the way my horse was moving. As I cried with relief he even had the kindness to give me a hug!

John Edwards had the unfortunate task of putting my beloved horse Flossy to sleep on Monday of this week. I wanted to say thank you to him and your staff for the kindness they showed to myself and my husband and the way they handled what for us what was a very traumatic day. They kept Flos out of pain as much as possible and found the cause very quickly, then in the end John made it very dignified for myself and Flos. Thank you once again Maria Barnfield
