We have just moved into the area and have visited twice. We are really impressed with service. A knowledgeable vet who took lots of time to explain everything to us, and who obviously cares about the animals.

My dog was recently treated here and the care received from all the staff members was second to none. They were kind and reassuring and kept me informed all the time re her condition. A really lovely veterinary practice.

It is a bit expensive but I do trust the people at this practice. Our current mob are young and fit thankfully, so visits are mainly routine. But we have had some serious issues in the past and I would not have trusted anyone else.

Khalee went in wagging her tail and came out wagging her tail! Think that says it all?!

Goddard's is a bit expensive, but the group at Collier Row are brilliant. I would not go anywhere else.

My Bichon dog has a terrible dust mite allergy so has to visit the vets in Collier Row every three weeks to have an ammune therapy injection to help with his itching. My dog Bailey is happy to visit and loves his vet Gordon Graham. Gordon is very gentle with him and looks after him impeccably. The reception staff and practice nurses are also very kind and helpful and are always willing to advise or offer advise if I ask for it. I couldn’t imagine my beloved pet going anywhere elde

I have been using Goddards Vet Group for 12 years with the Collier Row practise for the last 7 years. The staff are friendly, approachable and knowledgeable and will try and accommodate your requests if at all possible. Their regular health checks recently uncovered a problem with one of my cats and within a week, they had operated, removed the issue and he was back to his normal self. Gordon, the Vet, is obviously a pet lover, even if the pets don't often understand that!! Its a great and personal practise and definately one i'd recommend.

After discovering my rabbit had mucus spewing from her nose, preventing her from breathing properly, we immediately contacted this vet at 12 o'clock to book an appointment. After they ruled out anything fatal, and seeming very distracted, they arranged for a 4 o'clock appointment, despite the rabbit's worsening condition. By the time we came to bring her in for her appointment, she had been dead for a while as rigour mortis had set in. We then phoned them back to cancel the appointment, the woman on the other line claiming that she thought it was just a runny eye and if she had known, they would have had her in sooner, despite no mention of a runny eye when we arranged the appointment. Also, rabbits rarely have runny noses, so if they do, then there is something seriously wrong with the rabbit. I am just disgusted at how they dealt with this matter which could have been completely avoided, or if she couldn't survive, then she could be put down to prevent her last fee hours of suffering.
Vet ResponseFirstly, please allow me to say how sorry I am to hear about the loss of your rabbit. The suddenness of her demise must have been a great shock for you and I am so sorry that it appeared to you that there was no concern on our part - this is far from true. Our foremost purpose and obligation is to prevent suffering but unfortunately the information provided to us on the telephone led us to believe that waiting a few hours for an appointment would not be a problem. I sincerely apologise for any misjudgment in attempting to offer a diagnosis over the phone but would have to doubt that your rabbit could have been saved at that late stage even if an appointment had been made earlier. I am sorry that we failed to meet our usual high standards on this occasion and your valued feedback has enabled us to review our staff training.
