Registered our new kitten at this surgery, was met at reception and welcomed. The lady who booked us in over the phone when making the appointment was very nice! Richard is fantastic, very knowledgable and seems to really care for the animals that visit him. Could not recommend this practice enough.

Goddard's vets in gidea park are great, my dog has recently been spayed and I was really happy with how the operation was done with no need for a cone collar to be worn and she recovered really quickly. The vet and nurses are all very kind caring and professional, they make sure I have all the information needed for my dog to continue with good health. I would not hesitate in recommending them to others.

I'm new to Gidea Park Practice and the thing that struck me on the first visit was that I've never seen a waiting room at a Veterinary Clinic full of such stress free animals. They seemed genuinely happy to be there! After several visits with my two special breed kittens, they also happily climb into the carrier when it's time to visit. Says everything you need to know about how Richard and his staff care for them. From a human perspective, Richard takes time to explain exactly what treatment he intends to do, why and what to expect afterwards. He involves you and talks with you, not at you.The staff are equally warm, friendly and very efficient in covering every aspect of the necessary treatment, at the same time offering up various pieces of advice & tips. Great combination of highly skilled Practice in a family feel setting. Thanks to everyone there!

I took my two rabbits to the Practice to have them neutered. I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The Surgery was clean and tidy. Richard Marks, the Vet who did the operations, was very friendly. He was very professional and explained everything clearly and answered all the questions that I had. The Practice telephoned me to see how the rabbits were getting on which I found was very nice and caring. Richard Marks is very personable. You can tell he cares a lot about the animals he treats. I have great confidence in Richard and would recommend anyone to go to him. I have friends that go to him and they all say how good he has been. I do have other animals and if I needed a vet for them I would not hesitate to contact Richard again.

During the whole of our cat Maddie's illness we received kind, caring and supportive provision from Richard and his team. We cannot thank them enough. Maddie was suffering from a condition that another practice were unable to diagnose but Richard was able to arrange appropriate investigations and supported us throughout until we had to decide that it was impossible for her to recover. His entire staff were so supportive. I cannot recommend this Practice highly enough. Thank you very much.

Richard and his staff have been looking after my dogs for a number of years now and they been excellent. We sadly lost Woody a couple of days ago. He has had a heart condition for a while now, but for the treatment given by Richard and his staff, we would have lost him a long time ago. In my opinion wherever you go or whatever you pay, you will not get better treatment anywhere. A big thanks to Richard and all at Goddards Gidea Park. Lastly, thanks Woody, we certainly had a blast didn't we dog !!!!!

After getting a pedigree Sphinx a few years back and having used the same vets since, both myself and Hades (said Sphinx...) have never had a problem. The vets was something neither of us rejoiced in. Service was OK, we were both just a little take it or leave it. Just over a couple of months ago we moved, now Hades doesn't travel well and five days back Hades stopped eating, then went off his liquids... then he stopped using his litter tray. After taking a day off and observing him I got very worried and it being a Sunday didn't help... I, in my panicked and upset state, needed my Sphinx seeing by a professional. I was seen quickly even after them wedging me into an emergency and previously unbooked appointment on a busy Monday morning, this would usually leave someone being pushed through quickly at any other vets but the quality of time taken wasn't reduced in service at all... I felt comfortable in the company of a clearly very intelligent and friendly vet, Richard Marks was both efficient and professional but not without a lovely bedside manner to both myself and more importantly a very ill Sphinx. I felt like I was as much being kept calm and looked after as my cat. Important for a mid thirties prima dona tattoo artist... Hades was quite ill for a couple of days, these curious creatures we spend time with, like ourselves, sometimes just get sick... when this happens I feel it is important to still have the possibilities checked off and the relevant tests run. I was glad that the vet also deemed this important and was able to present me with quite an extensive range of results to help calm myself to the knowledge that this was just a fever gone wrong rather than an illness that may continue to present itself. Obviously, this can start to add up but you expect this with a Sphinx, I was throughly and pleasantly surprised that the bill had stayed within normal realms. This kind of thing can be the stuff of nightmares... but it was manageable and significantly cheaper than the regular get both myself and Hades use. Even though the service was better and Hades had more tests run. I was in pieces when I first took Hades in... and he was REALLY sick... but knowing, even after meeting a team once, that the best possible care was going to be given, really made me feel better. A couple of days later and Hades is doing better himself too... Both myself and my Sphinx owe the team at Goddard Group in Gidea Park a massive amount. Thank you so much. 10/10 ...and Hades now has a new vet.

We are very happy with Goddards at Gidea Park. We have to visit quite regularly because of an ongoing condition of one of our cats and everyone at the practice shows a genuine interest in our pet's health and progress. Richard and the team really take the effort to get to know us and our pets, and we are always warmly welcomed. We have been visiting the practice for approximately 4 years now and we are very happy with the service that Richard provides; he really puts our pets at ease and, also, has a reassuring word for us as pet-owners. He has a great knowledge of veterinary matters and is great at explaining sometime complex matters in an easy to understand manner. The practice is clearly driven by a desire to resolve issues in the best way for the pets, and is not driven by profits, which we have experienced with other practices in the past. The practice is keen to ensure that any unnecessary procedures are avoided and this avoids any unnecessary stress for our pets. We would not hesitate to recommend Richard as a vet, and everyone at the practice who provides such a fantastic service.
