Everyone you meet is friendly, kind and knowledgable. Our vet Jenny is brilliant with our cats (and with us!) and the whole practice puts in a huge amount of care and effort into looking us including extra "just to check in" follow up phone calls and cost neutral post op follow up appointments. The practice also has a great set of opening hour for two busy working people to also feel that they can access services in a timely way. This is a lovely practice and I trust them with my cat babies.

As our first ever visit to Heathside, I must tell you how absolutely thrilled I was at the experience! We were greeted by a really friendly front of house team, who knew my dog’s name and they greeted her too; my old vets, despite the number of visits over the years, never knew who Lady was! They came over to us and said hello to Lady and put her at ease in the waiting room. David then came out to the waiting room to welcome us, and in we went. Straight away David could see that Lady was a bit nervous and timid, so before I knew it, he was down on the floor with her stroking her and making her feel more comfortable. Then he stayed on the floor to listen to her heart, before she settled down and then moved her up to the table. I have never had that before! I was so shocked and taken aback at how he just didn’t even think, his main priority was making sure my dog was comfortable and at ease, it was just amazing. David then carried out an ultrasound on Lady’s heart, and called Meg in to help. Again, another team member who was amazing. Meg held Lady and stroked her and spoke to her, keeping her calm throughout the whole procedure. It was just lovely. Once the ultrasound was over, David went through everything with me and was very thorough and detailed, whilst still explaining things in an easy to understand way. He really put my mind at ease, and I physically had a sigh of relief. He then reassured me that he would have a listen to her heart murmur each year, doing another ultrasound if needed. I really felt like he cared and that my girl was in the best hands and he was going to keep an eye on her for me. Finally, on leaving, another member of the front of house team held Lady whilst I ran to the loo (pregnancy does that to you!) and I came back and Lady was happy. In the waiting room and in the consultation room, Lady seemed relaxed and was wagging her tail, which she has never done at a vets before! Overall, I left feeling that I had just had the most personal, caring, friendly and thorough visit to a vets surgery I had ever had. I really feel like Lady is in the best hands, and despite a long journey to get to you, I have now become a Client and won’t hesitate to bring Lady back. I will be recommending you to everyone! Thank you so much to the whole Heathside team, such an amazing surgery and such an amazing team.

We cannot fault this practice in any way. A special mention for Jenny & Alina. Also all the nurses. Your kindness towards Bunty was very much appreciated. Just sad after finding you we are moving away. I would highly recommend. Thank you.

I have been using Heathside services since they opened . I have needed specialist treatment for two dogs over those years as well as advice for all my animals on weight , gum disease and advice to enable me to keep my animals healthy and happy . I have nothing but praise for Jeremy and his staff as well as the other vets at the surgery . The nurses and receptionist are welcoming and friendly and I have faith in all the staff to do the best for me ans my pets .

When I first registered with Heathside it rapidly became very popular. The staff are efficient and friendly but most of all its the compassion from all members-staff that welcome you at the desk, vets who answer questions in words of two syllables but are supportive in the sadness we suffer. Thank you
