We were devastated to bring our beloved boy Charlie to Heathside yesterday. It has been a roller coaster for us and Charlie, throughout all this Dave has been there giving us time and supporting us through whatever decisions we made. After 9 months on borrowed time we knew our boy had had enough. Jeremy had this sad task to carry out, I can only say what a comfort to have such empathy, compassion and care shown to Charlie and us in a a heartbreaking situation. Following this Jeremy left us to have for some quiet time together with Charlie. If you want to know which vets to choose to get the best treatment and care for your animals it has to be Heathside. The ethos of care, empathy and time given to you and your pet is priceless and carried on by all the vets, nursing and reception staff. Thank you, to Dave and each and everyone of you for giving us Charlie for longer than we ever dreamt of.

Our dog has been seen by Heathside since she was a pup. Staff are very respectful to her,and are also flexible with our busy schedules. Always willing to answer questions and take any concerns seriously. I recommend this vet service.

Having been registered with Heathside since they began caring for animals in the locks heath area, I have had many dogs, cats, and small furries pass through their doors. But just recently my 14 year old border terrier has been suffering with a sore mouth. After consultation it was agreed that she would undergo a dental, and investigation into the possible cause of her problem. As you can imagine, at her age, I was reluctant to put her through a general anaesthetic, but I knew in my heart it needed to be done so that she could once again have a healthy mouth. She came through the GA and the procedure really well, and I spoke with Jeremy Giles, her vet, before collecting her. Overnight she slept well, ate a tiny bit, but went out into the garden, albeit a bit wobbly. This morning, still a little wobbly (I should also explain she has a rare condition linked to Cushing's, which means she can no longer walk, but can stand). Midmorning after our walk (her in a stroller), we returned and she ate her breakfast with far more enthusiasm than she has done for a while. I am so glad my fears were understood by the veterinary team, and that my dog came through it all so well. Thank you Heathside, you are a wonderful team of people.

They go above and beyond for my pet. Excellent service, especially the free first aid nights. Sezuire emergency first aid was very helpful.

I have only had my cat Max since end of Nov 2018 and have had to attend Heathside on a few occasions during that period. They have always been reassuring and so caring toward my cat and are constantly aware of owners feelings. I would not consider going anywhere else with my lovely Max. Thank you everyone at Heathside.
